Clint Eastwood steals the RNC

Wow...Now that is one Hot prez basking in the Outdoor sunlight...I'm Loving the Silver tie, shirt and slacks...Nobody wears a pair of Slacks better than Barry......

You got that right. The President is indeed very handsome and sophisticated. ..|

Not to mention he's doing a great job as President.

Kinda random and non-sensical, without form or substance.

I can see it, who knew Clint knew that much about art history.

Just read that Bob Newhart had something to say about Clint's performance:

"I heard that Clint Eastwood was channeling me at the RNC. My lawyers and I are drafting our lawsuit." – comic actor Bob Newhart, referring to his signature one-way-conversation routines.

Ha! I knew Clint was reminding me of someone else. I always loved Bob's humor. Evidently Clint has too.

I think he made a lot of people nervous --- in Chicago and the White House.
And perhaps even New York, L.A., San Francisco and even Washington, D.C. Including only Chicago is just another one of your cheap shots.

It doesn't surprise me right wingers are trying to make their pile of bullsh*t convention into something with substance. No matter how much Febreze you spray, it still smells bad.

Notice how they're all puffed up after they've been inflated with the hot air from the republican coven?

Watch out for them deflating come November.

Clint Eastwood is one of my favorite actors. I've got most of his films on DVD. Especially like the Dirty Harry series.

To see him on the stage with that peculiar skit was embarrassing. The conventioneers thought the same. You'd think they would have given him something scripted to talk about instead of that inane sketch.

Good for Clint Eastwood, even if his speech was a bit embarrassing – Telegraph Blogs

He's a likable man and a talented actor but being used by the republicans on the stage was not only embarrassing for him but cruel.

It is not unexpected that vituperative uber-left idealogues would view Eastwood's presentation as an embarrassment...no surprise here. Hatred for the elderly is certainly seen historically in all communist regimes. Just look at the mandatory "End-of-life counselling" that we have in Obamacare. We see you for who you are.

I saw a middle-of-the-road person saying that he had hoped for a uniter in President Obama, but all we have got was being fucked in the ass without lube. I am able to view someone's speech in light of who they are...it is too bad that people who hold themselves up as representatives of the gay community cannot.

Preach it, brother...

It also startled and unsettled Mr. Romney’s top advisers and prompted a blame game among them. “Not me,” an exasperated-looking senior adviser said when asked who was responsible for Mr. Eastwood’s speech. In interviews, aides called the speech “strange” and “weird.” One described it as “theater of the absurd.”

Ann Romney, who made the rounds of the three network morning shows, hardly pretended that she was happy as she was repeatedly asked about the speech. “I was thrilled for his support,” she said on NBC, trying to be positive. Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin said on MSNBC that he “cringed” as he sat in the hall during Mr. Eastwood’s performance.

^Rolyo85 beat me to the punch, but yeah... "all those crazy Nazi Socialist Communist Un-American Liberal Scumbags"... how dare they!;)

Rolyo's post is sadly gone... Let Rolyo repeat the unoffensive part of it, which is that even the Republicans at the convention seemed quite embarrassed for Eastwood. Those Communists...

And also yeah, the whole hate for the elderly is made of hilarity.

IN MY EXPERIENCE Republican apologists have completely lost it and are not even aware of how mentally challenged completely unspecified members of their group seem when they start spewing propaganda garbage...

Here's an international perspective. My local Sydney paper reported Eastwood's speech as "baffling". The Reuters video included said much the same thing.

Clint Eastwood's baffling warm-up for Romney

He berated Obama for not learning from the Russian experience in invading Afghanistan. It was George W Bush who ordered US troops into the country.

... ... ...

He suggested it was a bad idea for lawyers to become presidents - Romney, like Obama, is a graduate of Harvard law school. Abraham Lincoln was also one.

Weak ass semi barely coherent medicated drools

About random Republican goings on

CE+P needs a colon cleanse

Badly

Clint is a legend

This speech played a lot better in middle America than with the arugula crowd

Here's one .....

"We own this country. [Chants of USA] Thank you. It's not you owning it and politicians owning it. Politicians are employees of ours."

Another beauty from Dirty Harry :)

"I remember 3-and-a-half years ago, when Mr. Obama won the election, and though I wasn't a supporter I was watching that thing. And there were talking about 'hope and change' and 'yes we can' ... I thought it was great. Everyone's crying. Oprah's crying. Even I was crying. I haven't cried so hard since I found out there are 23 million unemployed people in this country. That is a national disgrace."

.
What I find the most astonishing is that so much of the post-convention buzz was about
Eastwood, not Romney. :=D:

and he said about Joe Biden .......
