BYU just beat Oklahoma 14-13

watch out for BYU crashing the BCS party this year.

Yes, I should have said " may" crash the BCS bowls.

All those games are in Provo. They ( BYU), can win 2 or 3 of those.

I want to see how good if FSU going to be this year.
 
I'm annoyed by all the attention BYU is getting......actually as a Utah fan I'm permanently annoyed by BYU in general. Its good for the conference and tearing down the BCS though. As long as we beat them, they can win whatever game they want.

I like Utah more than BYU, but that was a scare from UTAH STATE, the run defense was kind of shaky and they need to cut down on turnovers. But i still like Utah because they have shown that they can match up with teams from the automatic qualifying conferences in last years Sugar Bowl. I'm not exactly sure that BYU would have won if Bradford didn't go down and if Gresham, probably the best receiving tight end in the game, wasn't injured. Although i didn't pay that much attention to that game i think these injuries made a huge difference in the outcome though. Plus, I'm not really certain that there is going to be an open space for a none automatic qualifying conference, unless Penn State or Ohio State get into the national title game it could be difficult to get into one of the BCS bowl games.
 
What I don't get is how a 14-13 win is that big of a deal? Yeah they won, but by 1 point! That isn't THAT impressive if you ask me.

I actually like Utah more than BYU but i give them credit. Sure they won by a point but you know what is Oklahoma's record t home?

something like 66-3

It is impressive to go there and beat them.

Now this can help Utah, you beat BYU and that win over OU will help you as well.

Technically, it was on a "neutral field" at Cowboys' Stadium. :-) Being that Bradford went down in the 2nd quarter, I don't find the win as impressive but I'm not shooting them down either. I'm always up for underdogs to crash the BCS.
 
I am a bit late this week.

Great game last night
USC 18-15 tOhio state university.
While I am not a Trojans fan I am a firm believer that respect is earned on the field, that is what Trojans do, in front of 102k , national tv, go out to Columbus and get a win. impressive.

Poor Colorado, I like them a bit but they are in serious trouble, giving up 50+ points to Toledo? change is needed.

How overrated Okie st was, losing at home vs Houston?

I wasn't expecting UCLA to go to Tenn and win in frotn of 100K fans.

LOVED the Michigan upset of a very overrated Notre Dame team by an awfully young Michigan team. If only Ohio State held on to beat USC this would have been perfect for my Big 10, but now I have to listen to how USC and Matt Barkley are so good and how he's going to be the next GOD in football or something. Now I need more help to get my Penn State Nittany Lions get into the BCS championship game. Can't wait till we beat O-H-I-O in happy valley on the seventh. By the way I'm totally shocked by the Okie state game and the Colorado game, but everyone is still going to think that the Big 12 is so much better than the Big 10 because the Illini lost to Mizzou and Mich St lost to Central, PRAISE the MAC. Going to stop my rant here, but ill be back next week after D. Clark puts up another 300 yards passing in a win over Temple.

the buckeyes go to Happy valley this year? i see a win for PSU. Hope you go undefeated and see what happens, the media wants UF and Texas i nthe title game. USC will end up in the rose bowl as usual.

Cal is better this year. USC won because of talent , execution but they are beatable. tOSU also shoudl have gone for the 4th and 1 early in the game. Tressel was too conservative. They let USC hang around and the trojans did what they know best, go all the way and score.

Bad loss for the spartans. awful. Minny game back and won. glad to see that.
 
Hate the Seminoles so I'm pickin BYU for the win this weekend. FYI, it's going to be playing on Versus. Not that I was ever an ACC fan anyway (my profile avatar says duh anyway heheh), but I would otherwise prefer they be knocked down a notch. My upset pick for week 3 is gonna be the huskers beating down the hokies. :)
 
The Criminoles have a horrible pass defense. Not usually a good thing vs BYU. I wish them luck.

Anyone going to the OU-Texas game on October 17? I am, and my date backed out. :(

Will combine these picsk and see if i hit a parlay.

The FSU -BYU win will be a good one, dont know if BYU is going to cover but i think they will win at home.
 
So this weekend, I have two alma maters playing each other (not Bama). And I plan on going to the game. Now I have to decide who I will pull for LOL.
 
Georgia Tech at Miami, on ESPN at 6:30PM CST tonite! :) (Except for that one hour that Fringe is on.)
