Resurrecting a cool necro-thread. Hey, thread, I've missed you!

It's never too late to teach an old "dog" new tricks.

I just re-learned how to tie my shoes...

I have shoes with those round shoelaces that keep coming undone as soon as I walk for two or three minutes, and I was always needing to bend down and re-tie my shoes, over and over and over and over and over...

I learned that in the initial tie, the left lace should go under-over-under the right lace...I was always making the initial tie over-under-over with the left lace.

My second tie on a shoe is making the "bowtie" - and, as described elsewhere, that simple change means that my shoes NEVER become untied anymore. Such a simple, but such an elegant, solution.
 
Oh i remember this thread.

Something new to confess, i'm leaving, i know i joke about it and sometimes just plain out fib about jacking this place in, but i've come to the end of my patience with the place.
