I come from a 100% Democratic family and was raised in a village that wasn't but a percent or two below that absolute figure, so feuds and party infighting aren't new or alien (or even necessarily disconcerting) to me. But that's because I know that, come deciding time, it all comes down to party, not personalities: I do not vote for a candidate in the general election -- I do not vote for Obama or McCain -- I vote for the Democratic Party's nominee. This is a fundament of party politics, it is essential to the advancement of our political and social goals, hopes and dreams. Don't think so? Ask any Republican -- they'll tell you the exact thing, if they aren't lying just for the fun of it.
this is why i hate politics.....and parties.......its illogical to call yourself a democrat or republican....there is no possible way one believes in everything a party NOW stands for.....because everyone can agree.... no party represents now....the ideologies they were founded upon....if you do......you need to brush up...wait no....study a civics book...and re-evaluate....i dont know if you were just pointing out how people vote....not trying to single you out...but ive met a lot of people who vote like this...and that is just absurd
