Current gas price in your area?

$2.05 a gallon here, people were going crazy today at the gas stations...i filled the car up! for the first time in a long time..

We wish!

The equivalent here in Melbourne is approx $5.92 per gallon. And that's down from where it was a couple of weeks ago at approx $6.30 per gallon.

And we're cheap in comparison to the UK and Europe so not sure what you're complaining about? :kiss:#-o:kiss:

i gassed up yesterday at $1.77 and sure enough down the road were some stations at $1.75, $1.73...

89.9p = 0.899 GBP

3.785411784 litres per US gallon

1 GBP = 1.51389 USD

This gives US$5.15 per US gallon equivalent in the UK.

Even with a falling crude oil price, and falling petrol price (it went above £1.20 in some places at the heigh, now dropped a quarter of the pump price), we are still three or four times more expense than the US for pump prices.

Yeah, it's mostly because of taxes and shit, but that's what motorists here have to contend with.

I paid $1.59.9 today, but that was with my Fuel Rewards card from the grocery store. Spend $100 in groceries, earn a .10/gallon discount.

Unbelievable how quickly the price has fallen. Just two months ago we paid $4.59.9 in Murdo, South Dakota on our road trip between the U.P. and Colorado. And when you are on a trip, you don't have the luxury of waiting to find something cheaper. Especially in South Dakota.

$1.89 in my area in North Carolina. It's a drastic change from nearly $4.00 a few months ago. I wonder how long it will last?
