I feel perfectly fine talking about her - never gave her a dime either. People have gotten rich doing far stupider things, that didn't make them geniuses either. Will she be gone in a decade? Who knows, whats for sure is that if she's not careful the legacy she's selling will not be one of an artist.

there is nothing extraordinary or harmful about teenagers trying to piss off their parents, whether they do it consciously or not. i know i used to paint my finger-nails pink at least partly to make my mother uncomfortable. if i had a teenaged daughter or son and theyd idolize cyrus, id mostly just roll my eyes and secretly be thankful that theyre expressing their rebellion in such a safe way, instead of being into anything seriously harmful, like crystal meth or sarah palin.
