Oh, believe me, I know how you feel.

Back in my cashier days at Dollar Tree, I was working with my old store manager, one Sunday night. Now, we closed at 7pm, and one of my nightly duties in preparing for the store closing, was to restock the Shasta soda pop cooler for the next day. We had this 4-foot tall standalone cooler right next to our cash register checkout stand...

And the bottom shelf is where we kept the canned varieties of sodas. Well, I accidentally dropped it on the floor, it started to spew everywhere, all over our carpet.

I honestly sat there kneeling on the floor, staring at the spewing can, as if that were honestly going to make it stop spewing. For that one minute, I honestly did not know what else to do. /facepalm.

Just a few minutes ago I made coffee, and...I couldn't find my damn coffee cup -- so being the impatient lad I am, instead of looking for it, I just grabbed the dirty paint brushes out of a mug I had by my easel and spent 5 minutes trying to wash the paint out of it.
How's that? **blows on/then sips coffee**

I'm afraid that I have too many stupid things to mention...
But here are a couple:

Once I was cooking dinner for my best friend and I.. I was steaming brussel sprouts..
Put them in the steamer... put them on the stove... and then smelled this horrible odor..
I'd forgotten to add water to the bottom of the pan.

Next. well I was baking squash in the oven.. seemed that I need to add some more water to the dish.. I poured it in... and well, never add water to a glass dish that has been in the oven for a long time.. the dish cracked, actually shattered..

Next.. well I was going to take my buddies mom out for lunch.. we set the date..
I got up early (she liked the have lunch rather early).. showered, got all dressed up.. drove over to her house...
when I got there she said, well this is a surprise.. what are you doing here.. I said, well I'm here for our lunch date..
She said 'well that is not untill tomorrow'.. I could not believe it.. I had to check the calendar..
And yep, she was right.. I was a day early.
I was so embarassed..
