Anyone who ranks this story 'terrible' either has an axe to grind or hasn't read the REALLY terrible stories on here! Some of them are one huge solid paragraph with no punctuation at all, and "dialogue" no human tongue could utter.
Besides, this is a pretty damn GOOD story! The characters are real, the plot is interesting, and the sex is hot.
I would point out, however, that given that last fact many of us become "wankers" while reading it!

Your story is by no means anywhere in that hunk of phlegm's realm of ranking.
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about Dave and Rawiri.
Their relationship is extrememly believable, and I enjoy the introduction of the Maori culture, as I believe, most do.
I know it affects your star rating, and for that I am sorry.
Know that many of us rank it at the other end of the spectrum.

I didn't mean individual rankings with names, but how did you see the stats you just posted? And, how many rankings does it take until those stars show up with the thread? (Or am I missing something?)

I'm sure whoever did rate it was trembling with excitement and exotic pleasure and thought the "terrible" button meant "tremble." Either that or he was wanking so hard the mouse hit the wrong button. Happy New Year! It's great to have you and your boys back.
So, Rawiri and Dave are back on track, if a bit trepidatious, over Ra's impending departure for our Left Coast.
And along comes good ol' Matt, outspoken Bro' extraordinaire, drunk as a skunk.
His choice of lady for the night rebuffed his advances, after he'd invested a fair chunk of change, and adds insult to injury by leaving with someone else, not just alone, so he doubles up on his own consumption, then swings by to say hi, and see what kind of a piece he can get, one way or another.
A verrry interesting turn of events. We all know how much our defenses are lowered as we get smashed, and I'd say Matt's are fare-thee-well non-existent at the moment.
Could he share virtually All of the same genes as his Bro? What does this portend for Dave's celibacy and safety when Rawiri heads our way?

Ahh.. this is amazing. I just sat here for 4 straight hours. It's one of the most emotional stories I have ever read, it is amazing, a masterpiece.

My, that is a change in action. Matt is certainly showing a little more of himself than before. I still think that Ra or Dave would be safer with me here in San Francisco. Better still, send Matt to live with me and we can solve this whole problem... Oh dear, can my heart stand all this....really. A dual chapter ~ the slapstick of the knock down drunk, and the somber responsibility of looking after his bro's boy friend SERIOUSLY, if he truly listens.
I can (vaguely) remember bits and pieces of one or two nights in a previous life, about 30 years ago, where I fried a few thousand brain cells at a pop, so I know what Matt's head must feel like by now!
And, to be fair, there is a curiosity factor running here, gay/bi/or straight, to see another guy in action and, knowing it's his brother and his boyfriend, even moreso.
I did see the humour and enjoy a chuckle or two.
Thanks for a great installment.
