I love this story ... There were a couple of maoris - men & women - in my early Tantra classes in India ... This ancestor thing was very powerful for them .... It is a love story that tugs as my heart-strings at this time of year (it is almost 4 years since I lost my legally married lover after 37 years together ...)

I felt that one of Ra's siblings would be there for him. As Matt said, respect has to be earned. But...... now we have to see how Dave's Olds will take the news. Hopefully they are not as bull-headed as Ra's father. Time will tell.

A wonderful chapter JAG Mate! I love the total difference in attitude between Matt and the wanker. :D For Dad, it's all about him and the shame..yadayada. For Matt, it's about Ra's happiness.

I like Matt a lot. He's heaps more mature than his old man. His acceptance of Dave & Ra as a couple is absolute...and without question. What a support he is! (*8*)

That's a great chapter. Dad doesn't want to admit his son is gay while of all characters little brother steps in fine with it and helps the situation. Interesting very interesting.

What a difficult position to be in, Ra with roommate Steve and Dave with housemate Phil. When will they be alone? But, as JarodA said, conflict is brewing. That's how life is, unfortunately. And, being the romantic I am, I know that love will prevail...lol
