A great, very real chapter.

Close call with Steve, but those little "difficulties" are what help pull them together, pulling for each other, into a united front and stance - helping them to become one, together.

I think, in the back of my mind that, once the elders see them running on all 8 cylinders, "cooking with gas", being in-synch with each other, they will have nothing to say but yes.

Elders have a way of surprising us - they have wisdom that comes with age, and with the metamorphosis from the land of the living to the land of the everafter.

Their wisdom is not our wisdom - just ask the good Lord God Almighty - it's right there in the bible!

I am thoroughly enjoying your story, if you couldn't tell by now. It offers a quality that some lack. A simple honesty and freshness.

I am so relieved that Dave and Ra are reunited in a positive way now. I am sure, working together, they will receive some sign from the ancestors. In a way their problem now is how to face Steve. I don't think he is going to let this go and it may make it uncomfortable for the two of them. Hope not. Steve may be very understanding. I love this story.

As I said before, Steve could be a problem, however, I think Dave's dad could also be a problem. I doubt if his reaction will be very positive. But then again, I am only surmising. I liked this chapter as we get an inkling of how much Dave is committed to this relationship. Good show!

But, again, YOU earned them. You did all the work. I didn't tell them WHAT to give you, just to rank the thread. If they hadn't liked what they were reading, it could have been 1 star instead of five -- but I had good faith, based on my discriminating literary palette.

I have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers... lol Seriously, that was an intense chapter. Ra's faith in his ancestors and Dave's love. Being the romantic that I am, I have a warm fuzzy feeling that everything is going to be OK. So many thoughts are going through my mind as to what caused the noise, but I will wait diligently for your continued writings.
