^ I remember a few years ago, in two different winters (a year or two apart), there was al El Niño winter and a La Niña winter. BOTH of those winters were mild here. Aren't those supposed to be opposites?

It was 35 degrees this morning. I live next to Fort Lauderdale.

My central AC works like a central heater too, but I don't like to use it.

My friend who rents and had roommates told me that they don't even have heat.

This is my second winter in Florida. Last year was not this cold.

I know cold. I grew up near NYC. But I hate the cold that's why I moved up here. three days ago it was 70 here.

Newguyj, you must have just missed that cold snap in early 2008 (first week of Jan). I was in FLL and the morning temp in the beach area was 39 degrees! They had to bring space heaters into the Blue Dolphin cause they didnt have heat in the rooms!!

I did miss it. I just found my space heaters. I don't know how I didn't think of them.

I just drove round trip to NJ over the holidays. What sucks is that the rest rooms in Jacksonville rest areas do not have heat and do not have doors either.
