Democrat one party system in action.

Kabluey and mitchymo live in other countries yet pretend to preach to us about the evils of Fox. LOL, LOL. All they really know is that Fox is not liberal. So they hate it. Liberals hate the idea that people are allowed to disagree.

And they both seem to know more about this country than you sir. Not to mention living in reality, unlike...well, perhaps yourself?

Many other countries are aware of the scum of Murdoch -- particularly the UK. The smell is not limited to just the US -- it permeates into all parts of the world and they are recognized for what they are except by the small minded crazies on the Republican lunatic fringe. Is that where we find Ben?

Do NOT toss facts at the elephants! That confuses them!

In case you're wondering, yes, fox is on cable networks in basically every English speaking country as part of the basic package.

Let's not forget Rupert Murdoch started off in Australia as the son of a wealthy newspaper magnate. He was born into it.

He took American citizenship so he could buy US TV stations. He's an immigrant.

Cities that have shrunk while their suburbs have grown quite often have distressed pension schemes and infrastructure stress.
This is what happens when you lose a third of your population to satellite cities in less than a lifetime - the on-going obligations continue even after the taxpayers have left to the 'burbs.
Why did so many US cities depopulate to the suburbs?

Racism? isnt it obvious?

Why You Don’t Know Obama Has Created 4.5 Million Jobs
Do you have any idea how many more jobs Obama has created than Bush did? You don’t, because liberals are less likely than conservatives to cheerlead.

The terrific June jobs report may be the signal we’ve been waiting for that we’re finally turning the psychic corner. The overall jobs number was great at 288,000, and the unemployment rate was down to 6.1 percent. But the most important number was that the employment-to-population ratio, which many economists think of as the truest measure of the jobs market, was up a bit to 59 percent, a high for the recovery, indicating that maybe more people are finally out looking for work than staying home.

Well as a Canadian, the stank of the FOX network owned by Murdoch and the Saudi's reaches us here.

Fortunately they were denied the opportunity to create a Canadian version. Even our conservatives can't stomach the poisonous idiocy that passes for 'news' in the US. But unfortunately the airwaves still carry the American Bullshit Mountain network.

Since you watch it often enough to be such an expert, you would have to be considered a supporter as far as advertisers are concerned.

Haha. Oh no. That would be an example of negative association with a brand for those customers.

Actually, FOX is entertainment targeted at the brainless Republicans. It is not fair and balanced; it is not news. I remember watching when they first started and they tried to present opposing views; now it is a Republican mouthpiece.

Fortunately international viewers tend to be more intelligent than those watching FOX in the US.

Liberals hate the idea that people are allowed to disagree.

As valid a statement as 'Republicans hate the idea that people can think.'

Believe it or not Ben, other countries have media too. We haven't needed to know Fox exists to understand that media can be skewed in favour of left or right wing reporting. What makes Fox stand out, is not that it favours non-liberal views, but it entertains the most sensationalist of conservative views.

I have no problem with people disagreeing with my way of thinking. Its helpful to have opposing viewpoints to encourage debate. It is not helpful however to trust media sources which a) give platforms to individuals who disagree with established science, let alone those with a liberal view, b) show more interest in achieving ratings through controversy, than ethical news reporting, c) can't get their 'facts' straight, and d) blatantly have no sense of impartiality.

Now, if you have a right leaning media source that has no problem with showing up their own representatives for their mistakes, lies, idiocy, whatever, as with the left, then you have a respectable opposition.

You have been well brainwashed. Obviously you fall to judge the liberal/democrat media by the same standards.

You have been well brainwashed.

A comment which works both ways don't you think?

I don't read papers. I primarily source my news from just the BBC. It is neither left, nor right. Its not perfect, but it seeks to be impartial and has a strict code of ethics. It is one of the most respected news networks on a global scale and it's mainstream. This is essentially what liberal media is over here. Sensible, honest, informative.
Also, since most people generally lean centre right, leftist propaganda cannot afford to be so left wing, if it wants to be taken seriously. As such, you barely register liberal media as being in any way so distinct from mainstream sources. This is where respectable media, both left and right resides.

And you fail to recognise when you're regurgitating the words of KKK leaders - so what's new?

If I want to see BBC America, I have to pay more for my cable package. I do however, visit their online site. Here's the biggest reason the BBC is far better than what passes for 'news' in the good ol' USA.

Trust in the US media is at an all time low.http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ime-low-thats-a-terrible-thing-for-all-of-us/
While 55% of the democrats have at least a" fair amount" of trust, only 33% of Independents and fewer Republicans do.

The problem with publicly financed media is that their budgets and salaries depend upon the tax payer. This gives them a natural preference for big government, big spending and big taxes: i.e. democrats. I doubt if BBC is different.

The BBC is paid with a licence fee. not a tax. The BBC determine the cost of the licence. The government intervenes if the public think the BBC are asking for too much, but other than that, it is independent. It doesn't rely on 'big government'.

Gee I wonder why? According to Politifact 59% of Fox News is mostly false or worse but yet republicans seem to believe Fox hook, line and sinker. Why is that? MSNBC is is not much better, 43% of that channel is mostly false or worse. CNN comes in the best with 22% mostly false or worse, but still that is not very good.
