Sunday night was the premiere, we found out who the bride was (duh), and how the jilted bride scenario is playing out. Lynette is having emotional issues with her pregnancy. Gabby is taking Ana under her wing. Bree is going through with her affair.

blah blah blah

Ok, the last scene has me freaking out. They are not really killing off Julie are they???? I love Julie!! Does anyone know what exactly is going on here?
 
I dont know, but it seems like every year a new family moves into the neighborhood and the guy is a murderer. Let's get a new twist for the new family next year please.
 
The first episode for season 6 was better than some past seasons. Lets hope they keep the momentum going and it doesn't get dull again. I predicted last season that it would be Susan who was marrying Mike and I was correct.
What happened to Andrew and his b/f? Are they going to featured much this season?
Every season a new family moves in on Wisteria Lane and there's always some violent scene.
 
Wow..smart move. Let's quit being on one of the most popular shows. Every actor that does this, almost always fails.
 
That's unfortunate that Andrew is gone. but there's not too much left to do with his character since he's married and they aged him past high school and college.

But Jesse Metcalfe is coming back so that's a plus.
 
It may get repetitive, but I love the banter, and I am interested in the story lines. As long as they keep throwing us the random man-candy, I will not stop watching. ;)

It's not like Andrew was a lead character anyway...he was a supporting act.

I just watched the season premier, and was not very impressed. I am so disappointed that they are breaking up Bree and Orson. They are so great together. They had a wonderfully comic chemistry when they were first put together, which later developed into a nice relationship that felt real. What they really need to do to shake things up is bring back Bree's FIRST husband....who maybe faked his death to find out who tried to kill him, then did not have the heart to reveal himself to Bree once he (not only watched her allow his killer to die, but also) saw her move on with her life with Orson........wouldn't THAT be cool.
 
Owww We dont get this season till next year but damn! He chose Susan? That relationship is so dry! He should have chose neither and it was him being best man to someone or something.
 
I just absolutely love the banter. Gabby's dialogue with the cops was hilarious.

I am fairly certain that the Ana is the one that tried to strangle Julie.

She is Jealous about her and Danny, Danny would be too obvious, and Katherine may be going psycho, but I doubt they would have a housewife strangle Julie.

Then again... maybe Danny did it because he did not want to be a father, and Julie refused to have an abortion... maybe that is what they were fighting about.

I still think it is Ana.

I hope Mrs. McKluskey gets her new boytoy to move in with her!


...also, another reason I suspect Ana is that maybe she was eager to go along with Danny's alibi because she was also wanting an alibi... but then again... how would she have got out of her room if it was not the trellis.
 
I think the idea that Danny Bolen (the son of Drea de Matteo's character) was the one who tried to strangle Julie Meyer is a red herring and it will turn out to be someone else.

So my guess is the assailant is either Roy Bender (Karen McCluskey's new boyfriend) or, more likely, Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany's character). Katherine certainly had motive; to hurt Susan Delfino.
 
i don't think it's the son of the new family. that would be too obvious.

I'd say either Ana or Katherine (never thought about that until I saw the post above this one. good insight)
 
I am not liking the Katherine storyline. Her going psycho and trying to spread rumors that Mike wants her back is just annoying.

We need some eye candy. The son of the new family is somewhat ok, but come on!
 
My first thought was that Carlos' niece tried to strangle Julie and then give herself an alibi by claiming she was giving Danny an alibi.

But I'm leaning now more towards Danny's father or mother. I think Julie had an affair with the father and then thought she was pregnant by him.
 
So, what does everyone think of this season so far.....?
I personally, am snoozing......
John and Gabby.....been there done that
Lynette.....family vs job.....been there done that.
Susan being an overblown hyperactive whinny bitch.....been there done that........
