Desperate Housewives - Season Five

How is it that Mike called for Katherine in the airport and she didn't hear him when she was apparently only 1 minute away.

And why did the women in the airport tell Katherine that Mike said he was sorry when he clearly said "Tell her it was an emergency"? How can you mess the two up?

As for the marriage, yeah, I can't see why Karl was there, especially since Julie wasn't sitting beside him. But there's absolutely no logical reason he'd be at Katherine and Mike's wedding.

I think only "Smallville" had a worse season finale.

ok so the ending was alright but the wedding..I understand it's supposed to be a cliffhanger...but it wasn't done that great.

IF it's Susan...why are none of her friends her bridesmaids? and why would she invite her ex-husband who she can't stand to her wedding?

IF it's Katherine...why is Susan's ex-husband at her wedding?

maybe its somebody new!

i'm sorry, but this show really needs to throw in the towel. and as bad as it's been--another season of "The Mike & Susan Show" will be even worse!!!

instead of the teen girl situation with the Solis', it would've been better if they'd brought back Kayla to wreak some havoc on the Scavo's.

RE: Which woman is it at the wedding??

C'mon now, it HAS to be Katherine... I mean, what other storyline did she have this season?? Her 1 storyline was her relationship with Mike. Why else would they lead us along the way only to have it end some other way?? And remember earlier in the episode how Katherine uttered the line to Susan, "Do U wanna be my bridesmaid?"

I'll bet you next season right as they are about to show us who the bride is, the camera pans to the bridesmaids and they show us Susan in her bridesmaid dress. THEN the shot of the bride: Katherine.

Sorry, sorry, I am a photographer after all...

OH and as morbid as it was, Lynette's line to the doctor "Are you SURE it's not cancer??" in response to her pregnancy reveal was easily my favorite one-liner in 5 years...

Well delivered, Felicity...

Re: Which woman is getting married?

I think it's Susan, because Katherine said to Mike are you sure you want to get married? And when she went to buy coffee he ran after Susan to help rescue her from Dave. So Katherine must be thinking Mike changed his mind. Also, I think Mike is still in love with Susan. This is just my opinion. We'll have to wait for next season to find out.
Lynette's line about finding out she was pregnant with Twins and it not being cancer was funny.

I read somewhere that the show has been renewed for two more seasons! UUhhgg! So I have a feeling that Mike is NOT marrying Susan, because the show probably wants to drag out Mike/Susan storyline a bit longer. Before the wedding scene I thing the screen showed "two months later". So, I think that the writers are going to pull a stupid "OMG!" scene and have Mike marrying.....neither Susan or Katherine. Then we will have a flashback scene/episode where Mike rebounds from both Susan and Katherine by marrying someone he just meets (or someone back in his life from the past) in order to avoid his feelings for both women. DS would do something stupid like that thinking they are being smart or shocking.

^^^
I can't believe that. Why would all of Susan (and Katherine)'s friends be at the wedding of Mike and another woman? Besides, I don't think Mike is that shallow. After all, despite all her attempts, I don't think he ever was truly into Edie, even when he had amnesia. He's into Susan.

And again, why would Karl be there?

we will have to wait for the fall for the new season to find out.
I, for one, am not spending sleepless nights wondering who Mike, of all people, has married. This sort of gimmicky, stunt ending to the season is obnoxious, and when it concerns a character I don't really care about in the first place, it's really off-putting.
