Desperate Housewives starts tonight!

Yes! I was SO GLAD to see Andrew back!!
He's looking hotter this season...even though I'm still not over the fact that the gay guy HAS to be so screwed up on this show.

And it seems stupidity runs in the family for Susan and Julie...Julie: "you're not that hot"? "grab a shirt"?

Our favorite gardener, Jesse Metcalf, was hotter than ever. Definately been working out and loved showing it. What a hottie, damn!

After watching the 4th episode of DH Season 3, I must confess I am gettign tired with this Susan character. To be goofy, it's fine, but how unlucky can she be? I think the writers and producers should stop this nonsense between her and Mike.

I don't get it. I don't think the world is dying to see the two of them re-unite. I am more excited for Ross and Rachel in Friends. I just can't stand the pathetic luck of Susan.

And please stop Bree from hogging the show. I think suddenly she has all the plots, and the others are recycling their old ones.

Absolutely me too! Susan's story line so far this season is so boring and unecessary; every time she or the Brit come on I just turn away now.....I'm LOVING Carlos & Gabby's War of the Divorcees thing they have going on. I was laughing so hard when she was calmly on the phone to the police as the porch chair went flying through their living room window LOL! I'm waiting for Andrew to do something juicy but leave it up to Danielle to sleep with her History teacher!

I am a little pissed at the way that the Edie/Mike thing is going. I mean come on...she is making bold face lies, and Mike just believes her. I hope that he gets his memories back and slaps Edie.

I mentioned on another thread about how I've not taken to Susan from the very beginning and I was practically flogged. Oh.. wait.. that sounds like fun.. oh yeah.. naked, being flogged.. oh..oh.. is it getting hot in here... >shakes head< oh yeah.. Susan. funny.. I thought she always hijacked the show not Bree.

Bree has no control over her children...lol. I wished that Andrew had more of a part in the show, he is fun to watch.

I know! Mike's a fucking idiot! Hopefully he'll get his memory back soon and see through Edie's evil ways....

Is it just me or did he grow a little stubble on his face for last night's episode?? That with the buzz cut is making him look really good this season! And when's his next juicy plotline coming up??? I guess you can't top fucking your mom's boyfriend in her bed.....Can't wait for his upcoming antics!!!

I used to be excited over certain plots - like perhaps watching Lynnette at work, or Gabriel's affair with the gardener, or Susan and Mike.

Now, I do not know which plot I am interested to follow.

Even gay thing is dead in DH.

Last episode was a great show...I was clapping when Nora, Tom's ex-fling, got shot...but then as she was dying I felt kinda bad.

I freaked out when Nora got shot!!!! That came out of nowhere!!!! I definitely teared up a bit when she asked Lynette, in her own Nora way (LOL), to take care of her daughter. "She's the only thing I've done right in my life.........." *****sniffles*****

not me.. hated the whole Nora storyline anyway. Now, if Tom and Lynette needed some conflict storyline, I would have loved to have seen Tom and his boss from last season (who he got pretty chummy with) got caught sleeping together by Lynette. Now THAT would have been a great storyline.

ditto...

lol...so did a bit.

I was freaking out the whole hour...

I actually kind of liked Nora for some reason...I guess I like bitchy when it's on TV.

Too bad Carolyn is now gone...(didn't like her character much but I liked her hour-long freak out...does that make me cruel?)

And Julie seems to finally come to her senses with Austin...(who seems to be ready to lose his shirt again...)

I got teary in Lynette's last dream...for some reason.

It's funny how they give Lynette the majority of the dramatic acting story lines. It was good to see Gabby & Carlos having a serious moment there towards the end....

^ Felicity Huffman is a terrific actress (emmies for DH's and golden globe award for Transamrica)...no surprise that writers and producers want to give her the meatier dramatic roles. She's my favorite actress on the show. She does comedy equally as well...just a bit more subtle. From what I recall...her Sports Night and Frasier roles were strong harder edged and somewhat abrupt women characters...much like Lynette. Seems to be her niche. Leave the more obvious comedy to Susan and Gabby and the repression to Bree.

This past episode was one of my all time favorites for this show. I never expected most of what I saw.

I was very surprised that Nora got killed off...for some odd reason I really liked that character. Loved the hostility between her and Lynette...seems like that storyline could have developed much further...but I think that about a lot of the storylines on this show. Those little side stories sometimes overshadow the main plots they're trying to develop.

I also really enjoyed Laurie Metcalf (Carolyn)...she was terrific in her short-lived role as the enraged vindictive homicidal housewife. What a way to kill off a couple of supporting characters...and still segue into the developing Monique storyline.

Did anyone see Scream 2??? Laurie Metcalf (playing Billy Loomis' mother-the killer of the sequel) died in almost the exact same way! Blood draining from the head and everything! Just noticing.......
