I'm just wondering why it is more acceptable to say that you only want to be with guys who have 9"+ of dick and much less acceptable to say that you are looking to date a guy with 5" or less.

I want a bf that is less endowed, because small dicks on a sexy man really turn me on. I stated it on a profile, and got a bunch of people messaging me being really rude about it. I hadn't messaged them first but thy seemed really mad that I like smaller to small dicks.

Why the difference in treatment for dick size preference?

Ignore judgmental people and do what makes you happy. Anybody that would get "really mad" about cock size preferences is about as shallow as one can get. Delete those messages and move on. Those kinds of people aren't worth the energy.

If it were reversed and you put in your profile that you only wanted 9+ size dicks, you would probly get the same type of emails from small dick guys saying how rude you are for only liking big dicks.. You cant win.

Maybe they thought you were being sarcastic.

It's almost to the point where the majority is looking for Hot, Thin, young, HUNG... and if you're looking for something outside the box of what's expected you're an outcast.

This covers it I think.

Why does it matter when someone else states a preference? Seriously? I think it is fine when someone is upfront and clear about their preferences as it saves everyone alot of time. If you don't meet whatever criteria it is...you don't have to waste your time.

Isn't it infinitely better to find out someone wants 9+ upfront versus investing your time and energy and/or feelings into someone who lets you know six months later that you are not what he is looking for?

The other thing...what people say reveals alot about who they are...and that is a good thing.

Amazing to think someone would take it upon himself to criticize another's stated preferences. If the profile isn't of interest, then imply move on... and MYOFB! As for receiving such unsolicited commentary, DELETE!

I agree with this.

But I also agree with this. Doesn't listing a size preference also say something about the person posting it? It is human nature for each person to be attracted to different features but usually people see it as shallow to put too much importance on that, don't they?

What's hilarious about these profiles mentioned is actually thinking a 9+ penis is common enough to easily find on some random hookup site. And do these people have rulers at the ready? "what? you only have 8.75 in, be gone with you!"

I think being specific is good and stating a preference in a profile is good, just be realistic about it.
Perhaps "larger endowed" or "smaller endowed" would be better.

I've personally never used them but I ave looked at them to get a really good laugh.

If you want the truth, I have encountered enough "pushy bottoms" through hookup sites that talk a big game but can't handle a big ole dick. Hell, you get two fingers up their ass and they yelp saying "STOP!". If you can "fit it in", it isn't an issue.

That's cause everyone thinks 6.5-7 is "average." But yup... 9 should be really, really rare. Probably less than 10% iirc.

Actually, according to the American Medical Association, the "average" American male measures in at 5.5 to 6.5 inches.

I can't quite tell if you were stating this as a rebuttal or just as an addition. However, in all studies the mean length is less than the average length... meaning that numerically more men fall under the average than over it. In any event people regarding 7 as some kind of baseline or middle, which is common all around the net (and possibly offline as well), is an inflation over reality by as much as 2 or more inches if you're going by "what most men have" rather than the very highest point of an average range.

I'd say I can handle it but not if my guy just jammed it in. Taking some time is a requirement.

6 or 7 inches is about all you can expect..size has little to do with enjoyment.

Because you picked out a physical characteristic that some guys are insecure about, and some feel defensive about.

I have a personal issue with a guys teeth, and their oral hygiene.

I don't care how hot he his when I can't see his teeth, or how big his dick is.

The minute I see those crooked yellow teeth, any chance of locking lips with that dude, or him going down on me is out of the question!

See, he can brush his teeth and see an orthodontist, but he can't do much about his dick size.

We all have "preferences," but making them about one's dick size...it's just not...well very classy.

It's kinda shallow actually.

Must like a quote from a local Drag Queen: "There are two things that I can't stand size queens, and guys with little dicks."

Do you see the irony? ;)

everyone is and likes different things for sure...i have had sizes all over the board and actually prefer average size, for comfort mostly.
i have been fucked stupid by average or less and left disappointed with "bigger boys", finding that the big ones are just that, and from my experiences lazy tops " cuz they brought the toy you do the work ".( not all big cock tops are lazy...so no ruffled feathers please just from experiences i have had)

I know which one would have more people fitting the qualification. Maybe they're upset because they finally found somebody who wasn't interested in them?
