Did U Ever See A Ghost?

O.K Guys I have a serious question for you all. Have you ever seen a ghost or spirit? The reason I am asking is I swear there is a ghost at work and I am not the only person who has seen it.

So what do you think? Do they exist?
 
I wish they did actually. It would reveal a little something about an after-life.
 
I would contribute my experiences but I think they were more hallucinations than ghosts.
 
See I never use to think they really existed up until these past few months at work where a couple of us have seen a shadowy dark figure go by us down in the storage room and it just floats there and goes away.... The first time I saw it I did not tell anyone as I thought they would think I was nuts but as a few weeks passed a couple more people have mentioned seeing it so then I admitted to seeing this as well.

There is no noise or no fear and it looks like a dark shadowy figure of a man , it only lasts for about 15 to 20 seconds then disappears. Very , Very strange and I am still not sure what to think?
 
For some reason I heard that not everyone can see them or hear them. After my experience it has changed my mind into the possibility that they do exist or something is there?
 
It might also be a residual energy from someone/something in the past. Apparently, it's a phenomenon that some energies get "recorded" naturally and replay themselves. Does it happen at regular intervals or around the same time of day?
 
This happened a long time ago, I was driving alone very early in the morning, before sunrise, and I got a very sudden chill, I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a whitish grey smokey, cloud pass just 1/2 in the mirror, from right to left in the mirror, I looked out the window, behind me to the left, and didn't see anything. In a few more seconds the chill was gone. Was it a ghost? I really don't know if it was or not, but from what I have heard, it certianly sounds like it might have.
 
Its always happened in the evening and normally between 8 and 11 pm. It doesnt happen every day either... Its happened a couple days in a row to different people then nothing for a little bit and then it happens again. I have seen it a few times actually 4 times to be exact and tonight was the most recent.

A co-worker and I went to the basement storage room to get napkins , straws and bar rags and it appeared very quickly and left just as fast. She screamed which scared the shit out of me then I looked and saw it for maybe 5 seconds and it left. This was the first time she saw it and she was really bothered by it.

For some reason its only in the basement where it appears and its in different areas. Obviously we all are not nuts so something is there. The building we work in is over 100 years old so I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
 
Not that I'm an expert in anything paranormal, but you may have something. Does it interact in some way with you guys? In other words, do things move or shift in the basement between visits down there?

I have never really looked or paid attention enough to see if it has moved anything but since you mention it , it will be something I will watch for.

It has never done anything to anyone at least that I am aware of. It just appears and disappears. It a clear outline of a guy just very dark and shadowy.
 
Maybe try to talk to it. Say hello, or whatever. It might react in some way, like lingering or something. Don't expect a lot, but you could try so much stuff. TAPS might have some interesting stuff for you.
 
Thanks TaigaStar.... I am finding it very interesting and this experience has really made me open up to the possibilities of something more.

If or when I see this again I will try a talk to it thats if I dont get freaked out first...lol.
 
Just don't point out that they may be dead... Also, check the history of the buiding and see what you can find pertaining to your establishment.
 
well all I know of the building is it was built in 1904 and since 1954 it has been a Swiss Chalet Restaraunt what it was before that I am not sure.

Lmaooooo you have no worry about me pointing out that they may be dead... thats just creepy and I dont want it or him to freak out ..... I will keep you posted on what if anything ever happens.
 
Please do! I'm really intrigued by this stuff and I definitely want to hear what happens! If you could get an EVP, that would be awesome in that freaky way. Or a picture in a regular camera that you can't duplicate or fake...

In regards to some sort of pic it is a possibility if one of us would be prepared....lol , if one of us ever do get a pic I will be sure to post it and I promise there is nothing fake about this experience.

I talked to my Mom tonight and shes a firm believer of ghosts and stuff like that where I use to think she was nuts but I am more and more starting to think maybe she is right thats theres something more.

And it doesn't help that it is 2am right now and i'm all alone.

Long ago, in the mmiddle of the night, I saw a dark figure standing at the other end of the hallway. the figure seemed to be human but had bright white eyes. That scared me too death. I did not think anything of it UNTIL about a year ago I heard that guy from Black Sabbath say in an interview on VH-1 that he saw......a black figure with bright eyes.

But hey, at least none of us are getting raped by a ghost like poor Anna Nicole Smith.

If it helps any I also am scared to a degree. The figure I have seen doesnt seem to have eyes at least not that I have seen.
 
I'm in my basement, at 2 am, looking up ghost stories about my area. I'm scaring the shit out of myself. I just tell myself that I am safe because I have strong energies around me.
