Did you ever have a mouse in your house?

Funny you should mention this. I had a mouse this past thursday. I brought the cat in and he took care of it like a boss. I'm heading to home depot in a moment to get some traps and mouse proof the exterior.

I know we had a rat. I saw it scatter in the corner of my eye somewhere in the kitchen. Unfortunately it decided to nibble the cords or something that were attached to the dish washer. We found it when it died and the odor just stunk the laundry room T-T

Yes.

We used to have some extraordinary mice in our kitchen - they were breeding in the wall behind the stove. They'd come out and fossick about on the kitchen bench at all hours of the day and night with the most bare-faced cheek, scampering about, dodging behind the microwave... They were quite sweet little creatures, but I drew the line at having to share my loaves of bread with them, so I poisoned the lot.

No more mice.

Had them, even with cats in the house. Had three last winter, and trapped them all. Put the expanding foam around the phone line, internet line, outside faucets, and none at all this year.
The proper & useful response to little rodents!

I've lived here for 30 yrs. In that time, on a few ocassions, we have seen a little mouse now and then scury across the kitchen floor and out into the garage. They're cute and don't bother me. The time I came home and found a racoon sitting in the kitchen was a different story.

Yes, I've had mice in the house. I've had mice/rats in the shed. They built a nest in my lawnmower a few years ago. I put out lots of rat bait, and have no problems with them since.

Yeah I've had a mouse in my house. I'll use it to click the "Post Quick Reply" button in a few seconds.

Oh, and the other kind too. Hundreds of them over the years. Perhaps even thousands of them. I live on a farm and usually corn is planted here, which mice LOVE. Last year it was soybeans on ALL sides of me (for the first time in the 24 harvest seasons I've been here) which involves three different farmers, and there were very few mice over this past winter.

I cannot be tied down to the resposibility of having a cat.

Yeah, we had a mouse issue in our place. I used a trap called a mouse cube...

Now my older brother tried to get rid of the meeses in our place for weeks with no luck whatsoever. I cooked a steak one night. I loaded a mouse cube up with a small chunk of steak about the size of my thumbnail. Let's just say that I did in one hour what my brother couldn't do in 3 weeks! :rotflmao: Best part of all - bleach them out and let them air dry, take good care of them, and they'll be the last mouse trap you'll ever buy.

And my mom's cat had a new chew toy to play with.

I did, but just once. The mouse was running so fast, I wasn't sure if it was real or if my eyes were playing tricks. I ended up getting the old fashioned, wooden trap. I heard cheese for bait was not the best, so I used peanut butter - yum! - WHACK! I think I might have had a Stuart Little flashback.

I’ve had over 100 mice in my home. All dead, frozen in bags, and ready to be thawed out and fed to my pet snake. Feel better? ;)

My cat brought one inside one night, dropped it on the floor and it ran into my sister's room, the cat then proceeded to fall asleep on the couch and I had to get my dog to catch it.
