And everyone has been unfailingly polite and respectful.

Christianity and homosexuality do not go together. People use verses in the Bible, well good for them to show their misunderstanding of the book. As in the whole idea of God, well that’s not an issue that’s easy to discuss and impossible to “prove”. Either way there is nothing wrong with being gay and being a Christian. I’m Methodist and my church is very accepting of gays, we have multiple gay preaches and a gay Bishop. Over time feel this idea will spread as more about homosexuality is discovered. Even the Catholics might say it “ok” one day.
