Ok, this is totally conspiracy theory, but at the end of Dirty Sexy Money tonight they were doing stereotypical voice-over wrap up and it suddenly cut to commercial. I wouldn't think anything of this, but it cut to commercial as soon as a post-coital moment was shown on screen between Billy Baldwin and Candis Cane. There were like two commercials then it cut back to the show mid-way through the next week's preview. Very Emmy Awards.

So...was that a fluke that happened on my particular television? Did it happen to anyone else watching the show? Think ABC draws the line on tranny lovin?
 
They put it out there (tranny) and will move it more in time. The show itself is a keeper for me. I like the all star cast and what a cast it is. My favorite character right now is still up in the air with so many to choose from. Good luck D,S,M and see you next week !!!

Wow, i love it, although i did get a slight cancel vibe but i may be wrong, we'll see but i am enjoying the ride thus far.


First off, how much money do the Darlings have exactly?

They seem to just dish it out like its sand. And that hustler fiance just asked for a million and she just said yes, like nothing.

The tranny LOL, when she first appeared, i had no reason to think she was a he, so the reveal was hilarious. I like that subplot alot, and the scene near the end with Tranny resting her on Patricks naked chest, wonderfully shot, it was so sweet. And the twist that he has a wife.

My gosh there are so many secrets.

Why couldnt Brian get the kid into the school with money? but he could get in if he was a Darling i didnt get that.

I have to watch it again, because alot was going on tonight.
 
You mean it premiered tonight. Damn, I knew I forgot something! And here I thought I missed Big Shots (looking forward to that too). Oh well, I'll just catch it online.
 
I watched it last night and to be honest I expected alot more. I'll watch it next week, but if it doesn't get better I won't be watching any more.
 
I watched DSM last night. I enjoyed the pilot episode. I am hoping that it sticks around for a while. Im one of the poor saps who actually watched and like Studio 60 and look what happened there....GONE.

The cast of DSM seems pretty strong and so far the story line is pretty good.

IMO Studio 60 was good in the beginning, but halfway through the season it went to shit.
 
If they can maintain the energy and the feeling of last night's pilot I could be easily hooked on this one.

Though Jill Clayburgh is giving Joan Rivers a good run for her money when it comes to nicks and tucks.
 
It made decent ratings as far as Nielsen, but not great. If it keeps the numbers or, God forbid, increases...then it may be around awhile.

The only thing that really bothered me was that the slacker emo boy kinda got all sappy emotional in the end. If you're gonna have a rich party boy, play it up... and then turn him gay like his uncle Attorney General.
 
As as big Peter Krause fan, I loved it!
Sooooo, what's in the briefcase found in the wreckage? Papa Darling seemed a bit nervous about that. There has to be a very important reason Trippey baby to want Nick to take over that job,all those Darling secrets and all, hmmmmmmmm.
Good soap opera stuff, hope the writing holds up.

I really like this show. Tonight i really got into to it and that twist at the end? whats really going on? LOL

I finally connected with some of the characters and now care about some of them.


I felt so bad for Gustoff today the way his father scolded him :( it was so sad


Alot happened today i have to watch it again.

Justin is a bitch, how can he do that to Julia :( It was nice that he stood up for her but then to go back to Natalie and buy her the neckalce. He has a hot body though, but its still messed up.

I realy like Peter Krause but I don't know if the show is gonna last though. It's nothing that we haven't seen or read on the tabloid everyday. I think they want to bring back Dynasty and Dallas type of shows to the tube again. Rich power poeple with lots of money and problems. "Bigshots"is another show with similar story lines more or less and they both have main character involve in tranny.

"Tranny" is the equivalent to "fag" as far as offense goes to transgender individuals.

Anyway, I love the show. Poor Gustaff (what was his real name again, lol?). All he wants is a dad that treats him like a son, and not like a pity take-in. I'm happy Patrick got together with Carmellita, because she is his true love. It's sad he has to try so hard to make his dad happy. Good for Nick, for encouraging him, like his dad, to do what he wants, even though he obviously can't get his head around their relationship.

ABC is doing so well as far as trying to broaden acceptance past gay and bisexual people. They actually bought shows that hired two transgendered people (well, in the case of Big Shots, she isn't a full-on cast, and she's pushed as the stereotype and as the butt of the guys' joke) and one woman to take on the role as a transgendered woman. Now we need a transgendered man.
 
Seth Gable on this weeks show.
I would not mind finding him all tied up and having my wasy with him.

Loved last night's episode.

We got to see the real Jeremy yesterday, not the fluffy, spoiled Jeremy. I loved that he chose not to reveal who he was in order to get a date, even though it failed, it probably made him realize why so many people acted like they liked him.

I really don't trust Simon. Never have. It's all too convenient that he happens to have all the answers at his disposal and only reveals them to Nick if he does as told. I wanted to smack his smug look on his face after winning the poker game.

Poor Karen. She's messing up her love life because she still loves Nick. I hope nothing happens next week, because I don't want Karen being a bit on the side, and I don't want Nick turning into a cheating bastard.

Love Brian and Brian Jr! I think it's sweet we get to see Brian's transformation from a cold hypocrite, into someone that opens himself up to his children. I loved the scene where Brian Jr. refers to a girl as a slut :lol:
