Just to remind you, this thread is in a FORUM. It is not your private property. You should be thrilled that it is allowed to exist at all; on the forums I have moderated it would have been canned the moment it began as baiting. Would a thread of anti-bisexual internet pics be tolerated? How about one of anti-back internet pics? How would you feel about one on anti-bottom internet pics?

The big problem with this thread is not that someone interested in accuracy and logic comes in to try to raise the level of "discussion", but that anyone should be allowed to have a thread which is blatantly about attacking, flaming, and baiting others with no regard for truth.

People who have learned humility wouldn't purposely post falsehoods in the process of attacking others -- nor would they object to someone pointing out a few of the most egregious errors.

Honestly, this is indeed a forum, where people have repeatedly asked you to stop spamming this thread. Have the common decency to stop making 20 posts one after another. This is a thead that makes fun of religion, I´m tired of wanting to see something funny posted and having to go through 500 posts by the same user where he does nothing more than quoting the images and putting in his 2 cents. This is not a thread about discussion, you have a whole subforum for that. And you´re the only one bitching about attacking, flaming etc.

Make another thread titled ¨Kulindahr´s ANTI-funny religious internet pics¨ and each time there is a new picture here, go to your thread and cry about it.

Take a look at the post above this one. What is the point of a stupid emoji after quoting a picture? Just like a lot of your other posts here.

Your attitude herein is too often contemptuous and dismissive.

Instead of condescending to smaller minds than yours, why don't you adopt a charitable attitude to the ideas here. You may disagree with them, but still "get" where people are coming from. The posters in this thread are intelligent and deserve respect. Nobody appreciates a lecture from on high. Obviously, that's a turn off.

The world is full of ideas, and those around religion are anything but settled. I think you would do better for yourself if you recognized the merits of the criticisms made in the farips, then explain where you think they're faulty.

As it is, you are coming across as totally insufferable.

Why donbt you ask the dozen other people who have responded to pics with a "stupid emoji"? Apparently that's only a problem when it's done by someone trying to correct error and illogic.

The compulsive ones here are those who throw in heaps of images with no thought as to whether there's any quality to them. Were I compulsive, well over half the posts in the thread would be mine -- probably three quarters, as a compulsive person would make a different post for each inaccuracy, and not skip any.

But the claim here has been that everyone is perfectly aware of the inaccuracies --something demonstrated as patently false just about every single page.

And it's not that I "think" they're faulty' I only point something out when it is inarguably faulty and also rather egregious. I let the great majority of boo-boos go by.

As for deserving respect, no -- most of those in this thread are plainly NOT deserving of respect, or they wouldn't be so disrespectful. This entire thread is one dedicated to being as disrespectful as possible, with no care in the world if there is any inaccuracy or illogic involved.

Except that's not true. Quakers are religious people, and they would never produce anything resembling sharia -- whereas the general attitude here toward anything that even resembles disagreement is exactly the same thing as sharia law. So religion can produce the opposite of what's claimed, while anti-religion can produce precisely what's claimed.

The reason this thread is so irritating to me is that is is exactly the same as listening at local bars to discussions among high school dropouts who pontificate on how bad the Democrats are, almost always with nothing but falsehoods to drive their points. It's a low-information, low-IQ, bigoted smear fest.

If people here want to understand how there can be so many folks in the U.S. who think that Obama is/was a communist Muslim Kenyan out to undermine the United States, or how people can assert that global warming is nothing but a conspiracy among scientists to bilk money out of taxpayers and increase the power of government, they have only to look at their own mental processes in the mirror. The approach and methodology in this thread are Alex Jones almost all the way.
