This would still be happening if we were governed by christian law, just as it hapens under sharia law.
Just pointing out the truth, sorry if it offends people.
We are lucky to be living under a secular law in the west, try living in Iran as a gay man and playing the game of avoiding capital punishment for sharing a bed naked with another man.
I oppose this greatly, but it doesnt mean that religion doesnt believe some things in its teachings, it is just that some things are made illegal by secular law.
