  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Do u craiglist? :P

About 2 weeks ago I was gonna put an Ad in the "Missed Connections" section...But now CL asks for so many codes & they want a "Cell #" and shit...

I know they're beefing up Security but 10-min to Log in and type in so many codes is too much.....They're not getting my cell #.....I'm done...

Champagne, if you want to have gang bangs, go ahead. It's not something that I would actually want to do because I don't want to raise my risk for STD's.

Who said anything about gangbangs? What irks me are people who pretend to be so "moral" because they don't have annonymous sex like "Joe da ho", when in actuality if there wasn't a killer disease on the land, like HIV, they'd likely be ho'in around similarly as gay men did in the 70's. So it doesn't boil down to having a sexually refined, decent, inner moral character, but just a matter of being physically safe.

The true character of a man can be measured by what he will do if there's no risk of being caught or found out...in this instance, when there ISN"T the risk of contracting a killer disease.

In my single days, I used CL semi-regularly. If you're looking for a blowjob, like I often was, there are always men on there willing to help you out. I met two guys on there I used several times. I wouldn't date them in a million years, but they had talented mouths.

I agree! It's much safer and convenient to fantasize by watching a video on justusboys.com, of a cum dump getting their hole drilled by 10 guys, althougth I'm not that kind of guy. That NASTY porn star!

Actually what's the differnce between craigslist, adam4adam, manhunt or gay.com? I know guys who cruise for one night stands on all four(no pun intended) and one's a part time hooker, in these tough economic times. Take a look at this sight alone! Can you go anywhere and not see a dick or ass in a video, or subscribers profile?

I found that on gay.com, I could set up a profile with a picture and was able to search a lot easier. I'm fully aware there are guys on there who just cruise for sex.

As far as the 10 guy thing, there are a lot of things we like to see in porn that we wouldn't want to do in person. There's also the idea that if you're doing it in porn there's a level of safety that isn't there when you're posting on Craigslist.

altlover85, I'm generally not into porn, I prefer the real thing. However, in all your 24 years, please advise on how one can feed things to the mind, body and soul without it impacting their life and/or actions?

Champagne, you were the one who mentioned "the real thing" in response to others including me talking about porn where 10 guys had sex.

As far as diseases and whatever goes, if there wasn't risk of disease when I was single I would have hooked up a lot more.if I were single. However, I'm not single and there are diseases so no dice.

Never hooked up through Craigslist, it always seems to have too many spammers and flakes.

The sites that I like are adam4adam.com and gay.com, have had pretty good luck with those sites. Only had to send away one person because they lied about their pictures. At least he was nice about it, and understood.

What I meant by my last sentence was that if there were no STD's when I was single, I would have hooked up a lot more back then. However, neither of these things were true, so I didn't and wouldn't now if I were single.

Huntneo, hopefully you meet them in a public place so you can either be blunt or make up some excuse. I personally have never had to do it. It doesn't mean there wasn't a time when I didn't want to, lol.

LOL...I always hear people say things about sending guys away who don't look like their photos. In what manner do you do it? Just open the door, look at them, and say 'sorry...I'm not attracted to you', then close the door in their face?

I've never had that sort of experience.

Well after that, I learned my lesson, and will meet in a public place first such as a bar or restaurant.

But pretty much he came over, was about 100 pounds heavier than his pic. I had invited him in, since this was my semi-first time hooking up at my apt. After he came in, I just manned up and said that I don't think that this is going to work. He said he understood and left peacefully.

My number one advice to you is to meet the person in a public place first, and then decide where you want the night to go. And that way, you can leave safely and not worry about that guy knowing where you live.

OR

If you're only concerned with their looks, ask to cam2cam with the person before you meet them. If they have nothing to hide, then you can at least wave at each other over the webcam, and confirm the details of the encounter while chatting. . .right?

Huntneo, you would need to give me lessons, and if you saw me , you might just stop at seeing me. I have never been on Craig's list, and I still do not understand why I would go there to shop or look?

Shep+:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:..|

The last serious relationship I had I found through cragslist. (in 2007)

And that was the last tiem i used craiglist to hook up.

And before that I did hook up with people through there. (about 10 guys)

I do go on craiglist now to look for jobs/apts/ junk/etc

I don't use it (not any internet hookup site)to hook up anymore because I just realize how redicoulus majority of the ads are as I got older

and honestly I don't got time to be doing that anyway

You can't say that.

Just because some people don't find it appealing to have sex with any and every man they can, doesn't mean they are 'pretending to be moral'. Some guys just don't have that large of a sexual appetite. Some people like to find one guy (that they have an emotional connection with, or at least know more about that his first name) to have a sexual relationship with.

It's not always about fear of diseases and being physically safe, rather than knowing the person you're fucking. Some like quality over quantity.

I worded my post carefully. I didn't intend to imply that everyone who abstained from annonymous sex did so due to the risk of contracting an STD. However, this is the reason for some, and that's the crowd I was addressing. You have to admit the sexual habits of a good number of people have changed since HIV entered the mix. I cited the clip from the documentary "Gay Sex In The 70's", to substantiate my claim.

I like what you say. Now if men could just adopt your approach when it comes to women. Perhaps gay men will lead the way. Show the world how it should be, despite the highest incidence of HIV per capita, in the USA.

I've used craigslist several times for hookups. In the last year, about 15 men, all excellent experiences, and no STIs. I'll keep using it, but I totally understand why it's not for everyone.
