No preferences. I would like any guy with some similar interests and who would like me for who I am. I grew up surrounded by white guys, as in my 9th grade had ~350 guys, 3 were asian and 5 were black. Five yrs ago I wouldn't care to look at a black guy sexually. It was pretty much white preference.

But over the years I befriended a guy from Lebanon (middle east) and a black guy played World of Warcraft with me for months. They were straight but it really opened up my perspective. Managed to tell the Hugo I enjoyed playing WoW with him, he chuckled and we continued playing for a while.

Tyra Bank Show had a segment about gay asians; the names they were called and how they prefer white guys. Someone said "how can you hate your own ethnicity?!"....but Tyra went to commercial break. Hmm I wonder if some of these asians will go out of their way to ignore non-whites. Just a thought for you fellow asians.

I agree 100%! I do have a fondness for black guys, but I really don't care what color you are, if you are attractive and we connect I'm down. I can honestly say I have had crushes on guys of all races.

I don't know the situation in America, but in here in Europe the atractive don't depends on the race (I don't like too much that word) About me I only need a pretty eyes (blue or black) a little or a lot of beard and an average body.

Well, my advice to you is you should get out more because your views of blacks is quite skewed. Also I wouldn't advise you get around your black relatives or black folks in general rambling on with that type of mindset because most will interpret it as self-loathing.

I don't know how that is self loathing to be attracted to people that look like yourself. I mean growing up no ever would know I was half black its usually a surprise to them. When a black person with dark skin and dark features is attracted to lighter skinned people, people would call him self loathing becuase he unhappy with his dark features. But, by your logic someone like me who do not have these dark features doesn't like these features they are somehow self loathing?
Anyway its been said over in over in this thread but, preference does not equal you are exclusively attracted to certain races.

Light-skinned, "half-white" or not, I would relate to you as a black man and a brother. I would urge you to form a deeper connection with the blackness of your roots. Move beyond the "differentness" of skin tones and hair grades. See more "crispy black," beautiful faces and know what that's about.

There you go again, minimizing your blackness and your african roots as you have throughout this thread. You keep talking about how "light-skinned" you are and that's a justification for your preferrence for those light as you are or whiter. I've seen this game played before.

And now that we're getting deep into the "funk" of discussing race and skin tone among mixed indiviudals, which you instigated by going on and on about your "light-skin," you just want to be a "human being?"

Well give you darker sisters and brother the same consideration, as you differentiate and choose what's appealing and what's not based on skin tone, hair grade, and negroid or caucasoid features.

I am not minimizing my blackness or elevating my whiteness, I am both black and white and have no choice to be either one or the other. And I do give darker sisters a chance in the bi section of the forum there was a post of which celebrity you would want to be with and I picked black women( and a blond even though I typically am not attracted to blonds). And I don't understand this tribalism what am supposed to be only attracted to black people becuase I am black, even though I am half black and ppl don't recognize me as black.I like people of all races, and being bi even some people of the same gender. But there are some features I find more attractive like brown or black, hair and brown,tan,or dark skin and eyes. Now those features can be found in any race, black, latin, white. That doesn't mean I wouldn't be with someone with red hair or blond hair I just lean more towards darker features.

I've dated white men, haven't had much of a chance with others; so it can't be called preference, maybe more inexperience.

The LGBT community here where I reside isn't exactly the most open as far as race goes...black men are not to be trusted because they are:

Ruffnecks (they steal, they fight, etc.)
Uneducated/Uncultured
"DL" (Which even I, as a semi-closeted/sheathed/covered/whatever Two-Way tosser don't believe in and never did in the beginning of the hype)

I find this funny because the same men who discriminate always imitate the black women in mannerisms and attitude who birth these black men they ignore.

On the OTHER side of that, I get alot of shit from the Black LGBT community because I'm not like them and don't choose to associate with them even as friends [I tend to stray away from bullshit of all races and gender and eschew femmininity for hyper-masculinity (until I dance, then I'm a go-go boy all of a sudden)]. Just because we're black and bonk boys doesn't mean we're necessarily each other's perfect blood donor.

I seem to have a heirarchy if you will in order of most attractive race to least in my eyes:
1)White guys(italian preferred)
2)Latino
3&4)Black&Asian

While I will certainly be friends with anyone who is friendly, I find myself mostly attracted to whit guys

It's fine to have preferences but the obsession that some/many Asian guys have for whites is a little unnerving - it's worshipping someone just based on how they look, talk, and act. The Asian culture is great and historically significant, and Asia is the future while Europe and the US are falling behind. Be proud of being Asian! (though China remains a huge oppressor)

Literally any guy of any race with a baby face and a muscular body just completely does it for me. Besides these universal requirements, these are racial-specific quirks:

I tend to prefer...

Black men that are bald, for some reason.

Asian men with perfect hair.

White men that are tall
(this goes for any Caucasian, including Europeans of any sort [French, German, British, etc])

Hispanic men with a Spanish accent.

I can't seem to prefer one "race" over the other... though there was this one time where I was totally obsessed with Italian men because it was a belief of mine that they had humongous dicks.

There are some exceptions though... I am absolutely fascinated by one certain French gymnast and he's only 5'5" (165 cm). It's totally for the accent, though, so it seems guys with an accent from a romantic language like Spanish, French or Italian, just totally drive me wild.

well im an asian person and i like all types of guys but preferebly white guys. im into blue eyed guys with light coloured hair. there are guys who like asians and there are also the ones that dont and that makes me feel ugly. but at the same time, we all have preferences so i have to respect that. and just because u dont like them sexually doesnt mean u cant be friends with them.

I'm white/blonde and I hold a true fascination for asians.

Asians turn me on for several reasons. The black/straight hair that contrasts well with the skin color. The dark eyes. Some wear a very pretty goatee, their beard is usually not too thick which is perfect. Not much body hair usually, which is fine, some have it as a bonus though.

That being said, I get attracted to any race depending on the overall 'set'.

Regardless, we're talking about the sexual sentiment that may or may not encompass the cultural. My point is that you went to include the part of the of the cultural sentiment that had nothing to do with sex.

Anotherwords, we're not talking about pride in one's culture. I think many asian men have plenty of that, including those asian guys who "prefer" white guys. We're talking about those asian guys' racial sexual "preference" alone.

yeah i think media has something to do with it. i feel like it probably influences people more for who they like than who they dislike. maybe its not as direct, maybe if affects the ideals we value and that influences who we like/dislike. honestly i dont watch those shows, but its weird that they would say that?lol so they specifically referenced the philippines? idk i think i would be kinda upset. i wonder if they thought they really thought nothing of saying something like that. if they said something like that about black people, do you think there wouldnt have been some kind of controversy?
