i don't, but it is like a fashion statement, if you want to look hot, u have to wear them.
 
i wear them, my toes have to curl up when i walk tho, otherwise they fall off.

I only wear flip flops, but I live 5 minutes from the beach and it never dips below 60F where I live. When I lived in norcal, where there's some semblance of seasons, I only wore flip flops around the pool during summer.
 
I wear flip flops when my sandles break. You know, the leather ones that buckle around the ankle, has an actual sole. Love those things. I'm also one of those schlubs who wear socks with 'em occasionally though, so fashion isn't quite to the forefront of my mind some days. =/
 
Very rare that I wear them. But I do wear sandals which looks better and kinda close looking to flip flop. :)
 
Last two years I wore flip-flops all year round. I live in the UK btw. And I even wore them all through winter. Everyone used to 'wtf' me but I don't like my feet to be all wrapped up in socks and shoes all the time. I like them to be able to breathe and get some air to them.

I stopped wearing them all the time though because I got fed up of people asking me why I do it, so I decided I'm going to wear them right up until I get the first person to ask me about them and then I'll switch back to shoes.


Speaking of flip-flops, I found a pair of brand new Hollister flip-flops lying on the road the other day with the price tag still on (£34.99). So I took em :)
Wiped them with antibacterial wipes and now they're my favourite pair. I own about 5 pairs of flip-flops. I love them.
 
ya, if you want to look preppy, it is better to wear flipflops in summer.

look at what they sell at abercrombie, hollister, flipflops that are way overpriced.
 
i love flip flops. and when its cold i like wearing them with toe socks!

To answer the question...

No, I don't like wearing flipflops. When seated, they become a 'grab and spank' toy for anyone sitting next to me. :cool:

If they sold checkered stirrup pants, you'd probably buy those, too. :)

I do a LOT of walking, and live in a city where it gets pretty cold. So socks and sneakers for me. If that's not trendy, I'll be fine with that. If that's what's separating me from the hot column, I'll be pleased as a pigeon in the "NOT" column. :)

Like them? I LOVE them!!!! I have about 15 pairs. While I do accessorize I do love to wear them in the summer and even up to october.
 
I own two pairs of flipflops. 2/$5.00 at Old Navy--strictly used as shower sandals when I used to live in a dorm. They don't see much use anymore, except for when I get the mail.

OH WOW LOL. Flip Flop or even sandal while wearing socks is like ghetto in the north like those ppl in NY or CT, NJ. But I do it too. LMAO:cool::badgrin:

They are nice in the peak of summer. You can just kick them off and go for a dip and your feet can get some air. I hate the constant slapping sound when you walk though. I don't understand wearing them with pants. If it's cold enough for pants you don't need flip flops.

You lost me. How is it ghetto? Sure, socks and sandales/flip flops often don't match the style of your clothes, but it seems to me it's just ...sandles and socks. They're often more comfortable with socks, damn close to a pair of slippers. Is ghetto the new word for comfort that no one informed me of? I'm always the last to know....

The only thing ghetto about the picture he posted is that the dude just looks like he gave up on getting dressed and went out in his underwear.
