He calls me baby a lot. Every once in a while he would slip and say it in public, but I don't think anyone ever heard it (He's very closeted and I'm just now telling a few people).
We NEVER held hands or anything lovey-dovey in public, because I hate that shit. I have a friend who does that with his girlfriend, and it just seems so childish to me. When we're alone we're VERY affectionate, but that's our business, not for public display gay or not.
The only exception would be at the movies. We'd usually have some kind of contact between us at all times. Just a simple touch, you wouldn't even notice unless you were looking for it, but it meant something to us.
I miss him SO much right now

I call him babe sometimes. I feel weird calling people by their names in one-on-one situations, but I don't wanna just be like "HEY. COME HERE." or "hey you." It's not really in that lovey dovey sickeningly affectionate 'pet' name way. It's just like a nickname. Sometimes I call him "hot stuff." HEY HOT STUFF, GIMME SOME SHUGAH. Then I grab him and squeeze his butt.

Steve and I did. They stayed the same all those years. We never used them around anyone within hearing distance and I would die of embarrassment to reveal them. I don't think any living soul knew them and I'm keeping it that way. So there.
