If so, when did you start? What makes you believe? What are your thoughts on "him"/it? What is your overall faith?

Personally, I believe in a God. I believe there may be something beyond human conception out there. I don't know "his"/its behavior or appearance, and don't have any specified faith.

No. I accept that there are, and will be, things in life I'll never understand. I don't need to attribute or blame them on some mythical creature in the sky.
 
No. Religion is a crutch. Death is the annihilation of the self, and we either accept that and live our lives to the full with meaning, or try and use religion to escape into a fantasyland of self deception and false hope for something that cannot be proven to exist. In doing so, they are manipulated into doing incredible horror upon the unbelieving in order to maintain a fiction. If you are a bible enthusiast, or have a passing interest in say the 10 commandments, remember not to boil your kid in it's mother's milk. God and gods are as a fake as the tooth fairy.

 
I'm pretty sure I don't believe most of what is in the Bible, given that parts of it were edited out in the middle ages and the early parts of the renaissance, and also given that it seems to quite happily contradict itself time and time again and expect us to somehow read between the lines and work it out for ourselves. Which is fine, if that's what we're supposed to do, but that basically negates the need for it, really. Also since parts of it are so dense and require a degree in literature to interpret, and even then the interpretation seems so completely subjective, I do struggle to take it seriously.

Whether or not I believe in any sort of God does largely depend on what sort of day I'm having. But even then it's usually no.

The afterlife is a lovely idea. There are some people since departed that I'd love to speak with again. But I'm not sure it exists, either.
