Do you believe in ghosts?

Hey StarCrasher,

There is an afterlife and a purpose to our existence. Check out any and all books(and counting) from world reknown psychic shown on Montel, Larry King Live etc...
Her name is Sylvia Browne. You can also go to her website at ...........

I am sure you'll be convinced and more knowledgeable!

Good luck and have fun..|

I take it you've been there and returned then and thus can state it as fact.

You guys are all welcome to come and see my ghost. The former owner of this house is still here. She let's you know if she does not like you, believe me.

I don't believe in them, really... I suppose they exist, I have no reason to doubt it nor any evidence to support it except the sightings of others; but I can't imagine why that would be in the least bit important one way or another. I mean, they are of absolutely no use to anyone, it really doesn't matter whether or not they exist, unless you like the idea of your departed loved-ones, or even your future self, lurking around in the half-mists of reality. Doesn't sound very nice to me.

I do believe in ghost. I'm a paranormal investigator in Oklahoma City and have seen, heard and been touched by ghost. We have investated several areas. We have photo's, recordings, and documentation that ghost does exist

Wicked! Ever done any investigating at OSU? I started a thread over on the TAPS website about my paranormal experiences at Oklahoma State. One of the most haunted buildings will soon (if not already) go under the wrecking ball, South Murray Hall. That place always scared the crap outta me. It's been vacant since the early 70s, but you'd often see lights on in the middle of the night.

Thanks to project I was involved with, I had special permission to be in the building after dusk -with the stipulation that two of us had to be present at all times. One night our test subject failed to show, so we went exploring. The fourth floor was creepy. It looked like everyone left in a hurry, many doors were open. Textbooks were open to various chapters, with pens uncapped. We even saw shower kits and towels left in the bathroom...
Room 427 was totally gutted. It was stripped down to bare wiring and concrete floor. This also happened to be the room most people saw lights coming from. I was in that room, the light fixture was hanging from bare wires and there was no lightbulb. Something had happened in the room, but no one would ever talk about it and we could never find anything in the papers about what had happened to cause it to close. I guess we lost track of time because our security escort came looking for us and quickly ushered us outta the building. We were called into the Psych Dept Chair's office the next day and removed from the project.

I've also seen my great-grandmother the night she passed away. She was standing in my doorway, smiling sadly at me. It didn't scare me, I was more wondering how she was standing... she was a double amputee, living several miles at an alzheimer's nursing home. About an hour later, the phone rang and my grandmother came into my room to tell me Grannie had passed away. I told her I knew because she came to visit me at around 1:15, which was the home's estimated time of death.

To any ghost looking over my shoulder while I'm typing this message, how about flashing the lights off and on or something? It would sure answer an awfully lot of questions.

Lights still on...oh well.

I believe that ghosts are merely figments of people's imagination.

i.e. a trick of the mind

Hmm...

Well, 'ghosts' is a rather vague term.

Do I believe that Casper and his friends are haunting the halls ?

No.

But, do I believe that energy can neither be created nor destroyed ?

You'd better believe it.

In my brief stay on this planet, I've known two types of people on their
'death beds', those that were ready to die, and those that weren't.

It's the latter we should be concerned with.

I keep an open mind but I seriously doubt it.

On Wednesday a bunch of us from work are going on a two-hour "Hunted Tour" of Vancouver, put on by a trolley company and the Vancouver Museum. People who really believe in ghosts are going.

"Tour Vancouver's spookiest haunts and listen to stories of betrayal, revenge and the undead," they tell us.

It actually sounds like a lot of fun, especially with Halloween coming.

Yes, and have had experiences

A Haunted Tour would be interesting to learn all that's been reported about historic places, but don't expect the old Lady in Yellow to greet you at the door and re-enact her tragic tale.

You might feel a spine chill somewhere, but ghosts aren't jukeboxes who take requests at the drop of a coin.

My mom claimed that the little kid, seen by my late brother, who was 'haunting' our house, is still hanging around the house. She had seen her. It had been a few years since the first sighting. My mom is not freaked out about this, since that the little kid was just hanging around, and did not do anything evil.

I have a hard time believing in anything I can't see. That's not to say it isn't there or doesn't exist. But until I see it, I don't believe it.

I went to the Queen Mary in September 2004, boy was that boat ever so creepy, even when walking around some of those hallways.

Janine Melnitz: Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis?

Winston Zeddemore: Ah, if there's a steady paycheck in it, I'll believe anything you say.

:D

Seriously though...I believe in Ghosts! Just because you can't always see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist!

Hey Brandon,

Do you find ghosts and ufo's to be more interesting than spirits?
Just curious. I guess I'm more intersted in the spirit side of it because of my best friend. I still have not seen anything that was definitely a spirit or ghost.

Is there a way for us to do a JUB séance over the internet?
