Do you believe in ghosts?

Oh yes, I do believe Virginia.
there used to be a ghost in this house of the man who used to live here.
It's funny, both my partner and I felt him when we first moved in. We never said anything to each other until about two years later and for some reason we started talking about ghosts and he said to me you know I used to feel the ghost of the man who used to live here and I said me too.
He's gone now, we changed alot of things, so he probably got confused and left.

I sometimes see examinations of this topic on the NatlGeog channel and elsewhere.
The positive empirical data is next-to-non-existent and getting weaker.

That said, I can see how ghosts could be something that defies detection by experimental devices.

I believe in ghosts. I haven't seen any, but I sense things when I'm in this house: like I'll feel abruptly like I'm being watched or a wall of hostility. It kind of creeps me out. Seriously, if I saw a physical manifestation of something, I'd probably scream.

I don't belive in ghosts. I grew up near the our village's Catholic cemetery in my parents native country and I have yet to have seen or heard a ghost. Certainly "ghosts" are the fabrications of an over-active imagination or towns that want to see a few more tourist dollars annually. However, I suppose my experience is a unique one and that perhaps ghosts do exist... but then this concept would mean that there is no Heaven or Hell and that God does not have say in where the human soul resides.

It would be interesting to me to find out whether those who criticize orthodox religious belief simultaneously believe in ghosts.

Watch "Ghost Hunters' on the Sci-fi channel. They try to "debunk" places that are supposedly haunted.
A lot of buildings they actually DO see and hear ghosts.
It's a really good show If you're into the paranormal!:=D:
I've had some personal things happen to me in the past also so YES I believe in ghosts!

I know I love watching ghost hunters I love how Jason, Grant, and the rest of TAPS keep an open mind and like you said debunk a so called haunted location. I actually have a few ghosts in my house.

I believe in ghosts. Seeing is believing. No, I wasn't drunk, drugged or having hallucinations.

Hey Brandon,

Do you find ghosts and ufo's to be more interesting than spirits?
Just curious. I guess I'm more intersted in the spirit side of it because of my best friend. I still have not seen anything that was definitely a spirit or ghost.

Is there a way for us to do a JUB séance over the internet?

Can't believe I missed this post.

Even though I would put spirits in the category of ghosts, UFO's, I hardly was interested in them, but its always good to not close your open mind to other things like Big Foot, or conspiracies.

Best radio show I've heard so far is Coast to Coast with Art Bell or George Noory.

I'm a Paranormal Researcher, I've had this website for almost four years now. Been usually enjoying this as a hobby. I've been studying about ghosts and I do believe in them.

That's a great website. Paranormal research is fascinating. It's cool to know someone who has experience in this field. EVP and orbs are very interesting phenomena.

Thanks, I got interested in doing EVP 4 years ago, though its hard to actually do Paranormal Investigations when you have nobody to go with you its rather hard, so I do my EVP's either at home or other people's houses.

I don't believe in Casper the Friendly or anything, but I do believe that spirits survive and can be for good or evil.

My experience came in the same year. The first was my 29 year old brother in law who died of brain cancer. The last few weeks of his life were horrible and painful. He was in a bed in my sister's living room and we had to give him drugs for the pain that would probably have killed someone who wasn't...well...dying of cancer.

After he died, we had taken the hospital bed down, returned the living room to a "living room." My sister sat in her rocker watching television. I was sitting on the couch and all of a sudden Pat's rocker began rocking and no one was there. We both looked at each other and she said, "I love you Pat...." It stopped; almost like he wanted to tell us he was much more comfortable.

The second experience was shortly after. My best friend was coming home from a camping expedition with his five kids. His youngest son was holding a ball and standing next to his sister. Their older sister was on the porch. Dave had made sure that all the kids were off to the side and began backing up the camper/truck.

He suddenly felt a thump and looked at his older daughter on the porch who was holding her hands over her face and about to scream. Cody had apparently dropped his ball and went to get it and the camper/truck ran over his head/chest.

While they airlifted him to the hospital, there was really nothing they could do. It was one of the worst times and yet there were some beautiful times as well.

The first was the night after the accident. A man stopped by (along with most of the town because Dave had been a school police officer and was well known) to offer his comfort. He told my friends that they should go outside that night and find the brightest star...it would be a sign that Cody had gotten to a better spot.

The family was clinging to any hope at that time and went outside after dark. They looked from the backyard and there were just a few regular stars. They then went out the front door and there, at the end of the driveway, was a huge bright star. The night was a little hazy and it formed rings around the star which glistened. It was almost as if it was dancing.

The night after the funeral we were all sitting in the living room. Someone had given them a statue of a boy holding a soccer ball (which their son loved). As we were sitting and talking, the ball suddenly went out of the boy's hands and rolled across the floor and stopped at my friend's wife's feet! She had had a particularly bad day and had prayed for a sign that their son was okay!

So, yes, I feel there are spirits that help at times we need it; some that probably don't!

can't say i have seen a ghost in my time but i guess i wouldn't say they are not about.

I absolutely would not believe and I am a total skeptic, but I once lived in a house with a ghost and that made me a believer for sure. Stuff moved, therefore there are ghosts, the end.
