  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Do you cut your own hair?

I can't do it. Whenever I cut my own hair, I look like a twat with a cave for a living room.

Yes. After a period of letting my hair grow to a ridiculous length, and sporting an almost ZZ-Top-worthy beard, I have begun buzzing my scalp with clippers once a week and keeping my little goatee neatly trimmed. I have thus returned to the generic old-shaven-headed-guy-with-goatee look. :D

He'll to the no, my hair looks fabulous thanks to my stylist, who I visit ever three or four weeks....

Nope, that's what a barber is trained for. I used to go to a unisex salon, but went back to an old fashioned barber shop about 12 years ago. My barber is young (36), and knows hope I like to have it cut. He's also incredible eye candy (hehehe!), a really handsome guy!

Yes, I cut my own hair. I bought myself a Flowbee a couple of years ago because I was never completely satisfied with the stylists around here. The Flowbee works great! Click on the link if you are interested in learning more about it.

My hair length can be changed depending on the gauge attachment I use. It gives a layer cut which is the style I have been using for years and paying a stylist to give me.

Lately, I have been experimenting with the tapering attachment to taper the back. The Flowbee has already paid for itself. I absolutely love it!

Pshh yeah right. My hair is something I don't mess with. I pay $115.00 every month for my stylist here in Vegas to keep it lookin' right.

^Reminds me to cut an X into my eyebrows for friday...

I used to cut my own hair back in my 20s... it was sort of a combination pageboy/mullet, and I wore it in a little ponytail most of the time. I also bleached it myself. I looked a mess, but I was young enough to get away with it.

Nowadays I fork over my $15 to the ladies at Supercuts every three months. My hair doesn't grow very fast. I trim my beard myself and clean up my hairline while I'm at it, but for the most part I can't see what I'm doing at the back, so I leave it alone.

but it's nice to splurge on a 65 dollar haircut, and get properly sectioned for a shear cut with a glass of champagne in my hand.

I feel very cheap now. Haha!

I feel like that too haha

The barber I started going to a while ago is good eye candy, too. :D Tats, great arms, and everything :D

Yep, I buzzed down my hair (kinda hard to fuck that up). Haven't paid for a haircut in years.

I did the impossible. XD

Last time I went to go get my genital region cut professionally... they gave me a really weird look when I pulled down my shorts... and believe me those cops that came were no fun to explain to.

I prefer to cut my own at home... just less awkward. ..|

I've done it a couple of times. I like to use just regular face razors to do it. The first time turned out great. People even said so.

Then I tried it again over Christmas vacation and... I used blunt razors and it SUUUUCKED! Haven't tried since. :(

I get mine done in a place called Voodoo in town. I am willing to spend the little bit extra because it gets done well and looks nice. Plus, I don't trust myself to fully cut my own hair. Although, after a week or two of it being cut, I might every now and again trim small parts of my fringe so that it doesn't look to flat, and has a bit of a jaggedy cut to it :)

The only time I've cut my own hair is when I've buzzed it all off really short, like I did last week when I shaved it all off to raise only for cancer.

Usually I just let the pros cut it though...

I wish I could. The money I'd save! :-)

Once I was friends with a guy with the best haircut and he somehow did it himself. A very special skill, I'd say.

Yeah... I use the clipper to do my own hair, as well as my father's hair...
