I love fish.

Cod. Haddock. Swordfish. Plaice. Salmon. Trout. Tuna. Sardines. Anchovies.

Yummy. And good for you, with all of those omega fish oils.

What do you think?

My favorite is salmon, and I love most fish.

I am not a big fan of shellfish, except for scallops. They have a strong aroma that bothers me.

I like most fish. Cod, haddock, trout etc.

Tried Salmon, didn't care for it. Anchovies and sardines? yuck.

Don't like shellfish. The only thing gooey going into my mouth is coming out of a piece of hot meat. LOL.

Tilapia is amazing, but no know how to cook it - Kippers - that's easy 5 mins in plastic bag

*I'm eating a kipper right now*

One of my favorite food groups.

Love salmon, make it wild caught Alaskan. Preferably Sockeye.

Put the anchovy in my caesar salad.

And there's nothing like a sardine sandwich.....

Love it all! (except anchovies) Some shellfish but mostly shrimp, scallops, King crab and Maine lobster.

Seafood? I could quite happily eat nothing else. I love prawns lobster, squid, rock cod. I eat most freshwater fish except I don't much care for jellied eels.

I don't know if I like it or not. I'm the only one in my family that's not allergic to it. As a result, I've never tried it.

Someone wanna come over a prepare a romantic seafood dinner for two?

mikey

I eat all fish and shell fish, but also live less than 30 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. I eat fisn 3 times a week

Fish has always been a health food.
It will be interesting to see what the
effect is over a generation or two of
excessive eating of meat, fish and
daairy products

But a half century ago and more,
we did not think of ourselves as vegetarians.
Being poor, you ate what was seasonally
available. Crabs from the Chesapeake Bay
were not eaten in months that did not have
an r in their spelling. Strawberries were
available in May or early June. Today it is
different, but is it better?

I believe the best argument for fish is the
apparent good health among people from
islands and island nations. Japan comes
immediately to mind. (*8*)

Wow, 13 replies so far and nobody's made any bad v*g*na jokes!! Nobody's pretended to misunderstand the question and say 'I think I just threw up a little in my mouth'!! That's got to be a record on JUB! ;)

Myself, I love eating fish, all kinds, and seafood of all kinds.

I thin- Oh, Candyapple has proved the point already.

(sorry).

Anyway, I'm never too fond of sea food - but I do like haddock. When I'm at college and I have bad or just busy day, I would always ask for haddock if steak pie isn't in..and eat it along some chips (well, french fries, but thick ones) and it gives me the energy I need for other classes ^_^

... They have a strong aroma that bothers me.

Trust me, if your scallops and other seafood has a strong aroma, GET ANOTHER FISH MONGER. Truly fresh seafood does not have any smell other than a slight briney scent. Seafood that smells of ammonia, chlorine or any other "stinky" stuff is well past its prime and should only be used for fertilizer.

Back on-topic...I love fresh seafood. I'm even a sushi nut!! ..|

I love swordfish, tuna, shark, salmon, crab, tilapia and scallops. I can't stand shrimp or lobster.... the texture of them makes me gag. And I love me some sushi.

I'm just starting to branch out and try different types of fish. My favorite is Mahi-Mahi which I usually have at least once a week (It costs the same as chicken right now). I've recently learned that I really like Halibut. I had a lemon grass crusted halibut with a coconut curry sauce at Kona Grill that was out of this fucking world. I really like salmon too especially if it is grilled on a cedar plank with some homemade habanero barbecue sauce. I've only had tuna once and that was the seared Ahi tuna at PF Chang's which was alright but I think I could've made it better. Catfish is always good when fried or blackened with some Cajun seasoning.

lately I've been eating tons of imitation crab ("goberge")...just about the only thing I can eat in 30c temperature without cooking or preparing anything lol

I love lobster, shrimp and cod (especially in a miso paste). I'll eat most fish if prepared right (I can be fussy) but I think I'm allergic to oysters.

I grew up in San Francisco, and so fish and seafood were a big part of my diet. Every Friday, I'd drive down to Fisherman's Wharf with my father, and watch him buy fresh crabs for dinner that night.

Then we moved to Colorado. Fish sort of dropped off our radar for the most part. We still had salmon and whatnot from time to time, but we sort of stopped eating it for the most part. I never did pick it back up again.
