I don't have any, way to scared of needles. However I am rather fond of tribal tats myself.

Hmmm tattoos are interesting... my brother has an archangel on his shoulder- actually looks pretty cool, almost like a comic or manga character, but still sorta biblical and serious looking? Thought it was a nice balance. His friend designed it. What wasn't so cool was the "no fear" tattooed on one forearm, and the "no remorse" tattooed on the other forearm... those got removed XD took a lot of time/money though, so make sure, at the very least, it's not in an easily visible spot like the forearms, where everybody can just about always see it, just in case you grow to dislike the design.... in my personal view, if it's below the neck and not the forearms or hands, it's a good spot (though a tramp stamp is always questionable).

Personally, I've been kicking around an idea for a while, since I want to become a nurse, of having the Rod of Asclepius tattooed on my back, and having tattooes of ivy growing off of it and all over my body... including one vine into the nether regions. Won't consider it until I'm actually a nurse, but I personally find it appealing :3

I don't have a tattoo but every once in a while I'm tempted. May get a nice tribal on my upper arm or my calf (although I've been told that's a painful place to get a tat). I've got pretty muscular legs and I think a nice tribal looks hot on strong calf muscles

I have 8, plan to get a new one soon. I don't really care if anyone approves or disapproves. They are very personal to me and I love them. It's not for everyone. The only advice I can give you....when you know what you want and where, then it's time to get one. Don't vacillate back and forth until you are sure.

Did anyone else go to NIX in Toronto this weekend perchance?

Was fucking GREAT!!!! It made me sad when one artist came up to me while I was checking out her work, and she's like "I have more openings if you're interested" I I just got all sad, and my inner me was like" I have no monies!!! " but then she turned to my boyfriend (who has more tattoos than me, and they're visible while my only one is not) and she's like "What about you big guy looks like you want some ink," We both left her booth pouty faced

We got in for free though, cuz my boyfriend's brother paid for us... he owns a tattoo shop, so he goes every year. Even at the tattoo convention he stood out though lol. Was a good time. It was at the Toronto Hilton... WOW that place is nice!!

It was kind of bad planning though... cuz we went for a walk to go eat, and when we came back there was a group of tattooed people, and scared old people.... turns out they booked a tattoo convention and an 80th birthday party for the same day hahahahaha!

The Fluer de lis is a good choice..

Hate to nitpick but it's actually "Fleur de lys". (Fleur de lis exists but is far less used in french).

And I don't have tattoo, but toyed with the idea. Would have to have a real, important meaning. Maybe after my first date ever with a man ?
