Do you have or want to have kids?

Have you got any children?

Someday I do plan on having children. I'd love to have a family. Of course, not anytime soon. I love being able to do whatever I want, whenever I want. I have a lot more to experience for me. One day, I will be able to put my desires behind for the sake of my children. I just can't see myself not being someone's dad in the future.

I don't want any kids i don't have the patients for them i couldn't imagine my self trying to take care of a baby ew poop and throw up no thanks and non stop crying. i don't want to drive a mini van and live in suburbia and watching Donna at cheer leading and Steve at Baseball practice. Living the Robotic life

Not trying to "promote" anything here (everyone knows what they want and don't want out of life, and that's cool), but almost all those things you've mentioned aren't all that bad... once you are in the situation. You'd be surprised what you can do once the challenge/need is there to do it. Also, there is something to be said about "not knowing" what something is like until you've actually lived it.....

I love having young kids - but a lot of what UsedCar says fits my life - We have two minivans. I've changed countless diapers and cleaned up enough after my kids over the last few years. And the boys were in t-ball this year.

But your comment reminded me of an old "Twilight Zone" - Where a biker type has just died and is in a waiting room until he can get into "hell". He is sitting there with peaceful elevator music on, some readers' digests (or something like that) to read, some paintings of flowers on the wall. he is so anxious to get into hell, he can hardly stand it. After waiting for a few hours - he calls out to the desk demanding to know when he can get in.

Finally some clerk responds to him- "You're not waiting to get into hell, you are already in it."

of course the moral is:"What would be paradise to some of us, would be hell to others (and vis-versa)

So when you mention "those things...aren't all that bad".

I can just imagine that to UsedCar - they would be.

I was married to a women and we had 2 children. My son is 10 and my daughter is 8. They mean the world to me and can't imagine not having them. I had wanted 3 but my ex and I agreed on 2. Like everyone has said "they grow up so fast." OMG. It's so true. I can remember them being born as if it were yesterday. Now my son is in the 5th grade and is learning Latin. Ugh. Time flies by so fast.

Steven.
