I always make my own bread. After you've had real homemade bread the store bought stuff tastes like paper.

yep---I love bread, it is my passion, soul, and expertise.

I'm half Irish.

If it's a starch, we eat it.

I make all my own bread. I hardly buy it anymore. In fact, I have a loaf of 12 grain sitting in the fridge waiting to be baked off as we speak. I make all types too.
mmm sour dough bread with thick crust!

lmao!
Mmm....I make my own sourdough bread. From scratch, with a sourdough starter I made back in January. It's finally gotten to a point where it makes the perfect loaf af bread.

Bread rocks!

Wegmans specialty European style or Italian breads are wonderful!

Better yet...bread from Petrillo's, Savoia's, or Martusciello bakeries (all Rochester traditions) :D

I LOVE bread. And it will be my ruination.

My favorite French bakery in town has recently started making this amazing rustic loaf with rosemary and hint of bacon. It is like eating the perfumed air of the gods.

Yum!

Mmm nice and fresh.

We can break bread.

I have a terrible weakness for bread. When I was dieting and had eliminated bread and potatoes and pasta from every meal, replaced all sandwiches with salads, stopped counting carrots as vegetables, and otherwise went en garde against starches, the bread was the only part I missed. Eventually I allowed myself one piece of multigrain toast for breakfast, and that made it easier.

Now my most usual first-food-of-the-day is a slice of white bread with soft butter. It just feels right. And if the cost of bread (and pastry) is looking like I'm pregnant, then so be it.

oh i love bread!

but i have to be mindful of how much i consume.

Bread is a godsend on those drunken nights when you just know you're going to have a hangover. Just eat a shit ton of toast and drink a piss ton of water, and you're set. ..|

Bread suits me.

I know the Bible says "man cannot live on bread alone", but when I get a really good loaf of oven baked bread, I start to doubt the holy word.....
