why?
as a black person, i'll keep it real with you. i don't like this whole idea of "black leaders" which main goal is to speak for the whole entire black population in america which is ridiculous if you ask me. that just irks me. you know, i don't look at malcolm x, martin luther king, marcus garvey, huey newton as "black leaders speaking for black people", more of guys that were representatives for a huge movement in civil rights for everyone. i don't need someone to speak for me. i can speak and stand up for myself even if the police try to punk me around in which they tried to do that bullshit to me on my bday 2007 in warren county, new jersey. i was ready to get my ice cube on with those bitches. punk ass police officer tried to punk me around but they didn't have anything on me except that i was driving under a permit past the designated time. they can still kiss my ass.
but as far as him, al sharpton and jesse jackson goes, they all are dirty, have dabbled in some dirt and etc. they're not as clean as they wish they were to present themselves. i think farrakhan had something to do with malcolm x getting killed and al sharpton and jesse jackson had something to do with mlk jr getting killed. that's what i heard by the way. basically, these guys pretty much had to do some shit to get to where they're at because during the time, it was really hot. they pretty much marked men for even associating themselves with those figures. the feds, cia and etc had their sights on them so the fact that they were able to outlive all their comrades and be at the positions that they are at speaks volumes. they done sold out.
I watched the videos part 1 to part 5.
He is a great talker but he offer nothing, no solution what so ever.
He basically want black people's money back because of over 300 years of injustice.
That is a stupid and un-reasonable demand.
He should preach hard/smart work and get rich that way instead of wanting money for not working.
I don't think you should compare Farrakhan with any black leaders today, especially MLK.
It wouldn't take a genius to figure out that MLK would hate Farrakhan and call him out on his reverse racism and anti-Semitism.... that's not what MLK was about.
Farrakhan is a sicko/psycho hater who has no justification in his wackiness.

There have already been four threads on this person. Is anyone here saying anything new?
Only those who wish to be led to hell, or to their doom, will follow Malcolm. The die is set, and Malcolm shall not escape, especially after such evil, foolish talk about his benefactor; such a man is worthy of death and would have been met with death if it had not been for Muhammad's confidence in Allah for victory over his enemies.
Only three hours after the assassination of Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan delivered the guest sermon at Newark Mosque No. 25 -- the very mosque where the assassins had been recruited and organized. Was his presence in Newark on that fateful day simply coincidence, or something more?...
At present, the evidence suggests that Farrakhan, for one, was not personally involved and had no prior knowledge of the plot; however, he surely understood the consequences of his fiery condemnation of Malcolm, as well as of the forces within the Nation of Islam that would rid Elijah Muhammad of the turbulent priest.
This question is a joke, right?
wot cereal Louis Farrakhan like a ta eats ?
thankyou

I'm currently reading the biography of Malcolm X by Manning Marable, one of the most distinguished scholars of black history. I would say this will be the definitive biography for years to come, maybe forever (since Marable was able to talk to a lot of people who won't be around when the next one is written.)
As for Malcolm's assassination, Louis X (as he was then called) wrote in the Muhammed Speaks newspaper on Dec. 4, 1964:
Ten weeks later, Malcolm was assassinated. The book goes on to say:
But Marable admits that we don't have all the evidence yet. The FBI is still holding on to thousands of pages of transcripts of phone calls (needless to say, everybody involved in the NOI was being wiretapped.) It's possible that there may even be a call from Elijah Muhammad directly ordering the hit. And in any event, nobody benefited from Malcolm's death more than Farrakhan -- he took over the New York mosque (which had been firebombed and had to be rebuilt), and even moved into Malcolm's old house.
I don't know the man, so don't know, or care, really.
