Do You Like Spinach?

I said I hated it, then had a spinach curry and it were very nice! :D

I like to saute it with olive oil, onions and a little chopped garlic and then pour beaten eggs over it and let it set up over a low heat--I flip it once and yummm.

Put 4 or 5 rashers of bacon in a large pan and fry till crispy.
You can also chop up a large onion and put in the pan just before the bacon is done.
Take the bacon out and crumble it up and hold it aside.
Pile in the spinach and cook until done.
Put the crumbled up bacon back in and add 3 or 4 garlic cloves that have been finely chopped and stir it all up.
Add about 1 tsp of poultry seasoning - stir again.
Now .....eat it.
Its SO good !

I love it!

There used to be a frozen spinach dish that you could buy in the freezer section of the grocery store I think it was Stoffers brand, and it was a spinach souffle. For a frozen side dish, it was so delicious! Of course, I'm sure it was loaded with oils, butters, and gobs of sodium, but still good!

Love spinach! At Subway, I always choose that over the shredded lettuce for my subs everytime ..|

i looooooooooove spinach

mmmmmm a nice spinach and chicken curry, my mouths watering already

I am also a fan of spinach.

My mother told me I had it in my baby food and I was the only kid in town that enjoyed it!

We used to eat it for the high iron content, but it's now known that the bulk of the iron in spinach is in a non-usable form. However, spinach still has a high vitamin content.

Only problem is that here - spinach is actually silverbeet (so, totally different to what is known as "spinach" in the UK).

Nevertheless, I do eat it - and find it quite nice when steamed with garlic, then tossed with feta cheese...

Yes.

Steamed, or pan fried with some nutmeg.

Boiled spinach makes me sick - reminds me of school or hospital food.

I love spinach as a salad green either alone or mixed with other greens. We use it on sandwiches, too. A BLT on whole wheat with spinach and horseradish mayo is great in tomatoe season! Def a notch up from the usual BLT!

I like spinach fried in olive oil with garlic.

I also like it in a mixed green salad.

Raw, not so much.

But, sauteed or boiled, with a dash of either soy sauce or balsaic vinegar--yum!

Also, I love spinach in scrambled eggs, with feta cheese, rosemary and green onions.
