if i will not eat them in the week i put them in the frezer otherwise it is tre fridge (!)

Well Montreal has the best bagels in the world. So I eat them alot I usually buy a dozen and I put six in the freezer and leave six out. I neat trick my friend does is he cuts the bagels in half before putting them in the freezer and then you just take them out and they are ready to go in the toaster.

I had two for breakfast this morning.

Do not even try to dispute the fact that Montreal has the best bagel because you will be wrong!!! hahahahahahahah

Freezer! They defrost enough to separate while I have that first cup of coffee! I live in a part of the universe where good fresh ones are difficult to find (cream cheese is on the gourmet shelf in my grocery).

I don't know about you Brian, but I put my bagels in my mouth. Then I chew and swallow umjmmm.

I've never been wild about bagels. I guess because they tend to be chewy.

Toast on the other hand... with butter and grape jam. Yum. ;)

I always leave a couple of my MONTREAL bagels in the fridge and the others in the freezers. I buy them in mix lots, so I always have a variety on hand. At room temp on a plate, they thaw out pretty cool and I like them. of course they must have cream cheese + whatever on them prior to ingestion.

Like Oprah, I have my baked goods flown in from Paris, France so there is no need for artificial climate control as a means of preservation.

Simple solution: Let him keep his bagels in the freezer, and you put your bagels where you want. Problem solved.

Oh fuck - and miss out on this earth shattering drama? Next you'll suggest he put the cap back on the toothpaste!

I usually buy a couple packages at a time so one goes in the freezer and the other in the fridge. Then when I get ready to eat one of said refridgerated bagels, I put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. It's MMM MMM good.

Oh yeah, when said bagels in said fridge are all gone, I take said bagels out of said freezer and put them in said fridge.

Aren't we just special then. ;)

But then again, a fried egg and cheese sandwich, on toasted bread of course, is pretty good too.

I actually buy 12 at a time from a bagel shop. I freeze all but 2 at a time, and they do make good sandwiches like hamburgers, Cheesesteak, Hot pastrami etc. They are also good just toasted and buttered.

From my experienced with bagels...lol...the freezer was the best place to put bagels, if you don't want to throw them out...otherwise they're the most annoying food in the world (not fresh that is).

I always put my bagels in the freezer. But they are so difficult to eat when frozen...my dentist bills are killer.

Do you generally refer to your bagel as "My Precious?" :D
