Is that a '59 Cadillac Seville? I was thinking Fleetwood until I saw the name on the attachment.
Seeing more data and that the Seville was a trim line of Eldorado makes sense.
Definitely an upgrade from the Sedan deVille.

Boy, the way Glenn Miller played
Songs that made the Hit Parade.
Guys like us, we had it made.
Those were the days.
And you knew who you were then.
Girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man
Like Herbert Hoover again.
Didn't need no welfare state.
Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great.
Those were the da-a-a-a-a-a-ays!

I got the photo from Wikipedia, they said it was an Eldorado.

^The pics I saw had it labeled as both. Seville in the Eldorado trim line.

Meathead and Edith and all that jazz, Neil.

The Buick Lasalle - the upscale family car.

Of course, my dad used the Buick name when poking at someone under the self-inflicted weather.

There's nothing like a Buuuu - ick (while tossing one's cookies).

Something like that.

Maybe that's why we had Fords, an occasional Olds, and Lincolns before that.

Do you remember the old game shows?
Queen for a day
The newly wed game
To tell the truth

The other night a show was on about some of these shows, an old clip from the newly wed game showed the host asking a woman
"what was the weirdest place that you made whoopee?" she relied "In my butt"

What's My Line?
I've Got a Secret
Truth or Consequences
Jeopardy! (with Art Flemming)
$64,000 Question

This one wasn't really a game show, but I enjoyed it: This Is Your Life

I've seen that episode before.
Coincidentally, a FB post about a guy going to the Copacabana in Rio tomorrow for New Years Eve led me to Youtube earlier.

One thing led to another and another and . . .

Do you remember when kids used to walk around singing the Oscar Mayer jingle?

Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener.
That is what I'd truly like to be.
For if I were an Oscar Mayer wiener
Everyone would be in love with me.

Or humming this? Ba doomp a doomp. Doomp a doomp a doomp boomp......

I remember the Oscar Mayer wiener song, it was big in the 6th grade. (the song)
