  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Do you think McDonald's burgers are too small?

I love these better than thou people who think they are too good to eat fast food.

You're the Queen Kathereen elegant and serene. :p

I love McDonald's breakfast. Egg McMuffins + Hashbrowns!
My taste buds love me for getting it, but the rest of my body hates me for it. I always have to get two Egg McMuffins though, because they're so small they don't fill me up :(

I don't usually go to McDonald's though, because it just isn't cost effective; almost everything is so expensive.

I haven't had McDonald's food since 0 days, ate it in the car on the way home, it was hot and fresh. Hamburger, cheeseburger and small fries cost $2.20. I had my own soda. They have been salting their fries a little too much lately, I noticed this at two different McDs,

I think McDonald's is cheap compared to Wendy's and Burger King around here in Columbus, OH. I always just get a Quarter pounder and a large fry, I usually break a five and get change back. I feel like McDonald's has too many unnecessary items on their menus so they have a lot of items but at the same time not much to choose from.

McDonald's never puts the Big Mac on special anymore, basically it's just a double cheeseburger with an extra slice of bread. I remember years and years ago they would have at least once a year a special for it for 99 cents, usually on it's anniversary. Now they charge the same for it as a QP w cheese which is like $3.40. The only specials they have is buy one get one free sometimes of either BM or QPwC but you can't mix and match.

Wow, that's a great photo you found, Freefall. It is funny how different the advertised food is vs. what you actually get.

Funny how somethign that small can be loaded with calories. Carls Jr (or Hardees depending where you are) reputably has some of the biggest burgers... those $6 ones... but hey, don't take my word for it. I haven't eaten there in 5 years and don't intend to ever again. I don't eat burgers anymore.

One thing I will say for Carls Jr or Hardees...they have a turkey burger that's dressed the same as their thickburgers. It's tastes good and is just under 400 calories and is a large sandwich.

I don't know. I have not eaten a mcdonald's hamburger since probably 1982.

First factor:

Every time I get an Angus burger it looks nothing like the "actual" image here but instead looks closer to the ad. And that Whopper's "actual" image is also extreme. These two items look like they're missing some ingredients. If I got a whopper that looked like that I would return it for my money back.

over here they only use half a slice of cheese for the fillet'O fish burger.

I like fast, cheap, convenient food and indulge in unhealthy stuff.

McDonald's is not delicious, though.

It's ripping off my sense of pleasure.

Here too, I didn't even know they did that. I complained about it thinking it was a mistake and they said that's how they do it.
It's a fish sandwich. I think they do it because the patty is too small for a full slice of cheese.

I was gonna reply with "No, but I think the OP sounds fat." but you seem nice.
