Hi. Sorry.

Do you wash the toilet bowl everytime after you poop?

I have this habit of washing the toilet bowl everytime after I poop.

I just feel like the toilet bowl will become very dirty after I poop.

Basically, I just feel that the act of pooping is a very disgusting thing.

If only I can live my life without pooping.

But I am human. And I need to eat. And if I eat something, then I will have to poop eventually.

I am worried that my poop will accidentally touch the side, edge of the toilet bowl.
Or when I flush it off with water, the water will splash the poop and bits of the poop will land on the side, edge of the toilet bowl and even the toilet seat cover.

After I poop, I will normally clean my butt with water using the shower head. I don't use toilet paper.

I am worried that if I have to pee later, when I sit down on the toilet bowl, the poop on the side, edge of the toilet bowl and the poop on the toilet seat cover will land on my butt and pants, clothes, underwear and I will become very dirty.

And so I will use the shower head and water hose to spray and clean and wash the toilet seat cover and side and edge of the toilet bowl everytime after I poop.

Because of this, I ended up spending a long time in the toilet.

Is there anything ,advice that you can help me with this problem?

I feel like this problem is ruining my life.

I am mentally exhausted and burn out from having to always wash and clean the toilet bowl and toilet seat cover everytime after I poop.

Have you considered pooping in the automatic dishwasher?

The garbage disposal might be a bit too risky. Don't try that.

something went very wrong with your potty training...

think of it this way - the poop has already been INSIDE your body - it's not going to get any worse than that...

by cleaning the toilet constantly you are literally playing with the poop x amount of times a day rather than the normal cleaning of about once a week - you are increasing your exposure...

maybe you should go to one of the JUB scat threads in the fetish section where guys not only play rub and smear but even eat it - they all seem to be fine the next day....

this is obsessive behavior - break the cycle and and walk through it - go buy one of those blue things that you put in the toilet tank that automatically cleans the toilet awhen you flush and see if you can go a week without personally cleaning it...

Sorry to hear of your anxiety. It can be lessened if you can get some therapy. You might begin, if professional help is not available, to read some articles and books on dealing with anxiety disorders. Don't make it out to be such a monster. It's a pattern of thought, and you can work to change it, little by little, and greatly improve your peace of mind.

My good friend Aaron was highly stressed by his own anxiety disorder when I met him over a decade ago, and he has made great progress and enjoys a peaceful life.

Also, don't think of feces as waiting to kill you or make you sick. That it makes the bathroom germy is somewhat true, but any threat to you is pretty much negated when you wash your hands thoroughly.

This is simply an obsessive compulsive disorder and the only way you will deal with it is to get professional counselling.

It is considered polite if after the toilet is flushed to take the brush and give it a quick swirl if there are any remaining skids, so that the next person has a 'clean' bowl, but your fixation is different.

Pooping is not disgusting. It is a simple biological process of getting rid of what your body has taken in and cannot use. But some people see it as you do and there is always an underlying predisposition and/or psychological conditioning that results in varying degrees of aversion to shit. Yours seems fairly extreme and you have certainly shared your problems with digestion here over the years.

Can you find a good therapist to talk to about this? With conditioning you can manage this phobia. There are lots of articles on line about coprophobia and maybe if you understand more about it, you will feel more confident about seeking counselling.

Coprophobia is an anxiety disorder. Specifically, it is a specific and rare type of specific phobia.

In this case, the phobic element is the feces, so that subjects with coprophobia experience high feelings of discomfort and anxiety whenever they are exposed to excrement.

Thanks for your sincere advice.

I find poop to be very disgusting.

From what I understand, poop contains millions of bacteria, virus and contact with poop can make you sick with fever, chlorea, typhoid, vomiting, diarrhoea and many other diseases.

And I don't want to get the above mentioned symptoms so I try to minimize mysef exposure to poop.

Unfortunately, I have to poop like everyone else. And I am scared and worried that bits and pieces of my poop will land on the side, edges of the toilet bowl or the toilet seat cover because sometimes my poop is soft.

Are you sure about people with poop fetish? Don't they get seriously sick after playing with poop?

But thanks for your advice.

I will try to follow your advice and see how it goes.

And because I am using the same toilet bowl to pee later on, ( there is only one toilet bowl for me to use at home), I am scared and worried that when I pee sitting down, my butt or clothes, underwear will touch the leftover stool from the side, edges of the toilet bowl and I will get dirty.

Because of my fear of poop, I will always take a long shower after I had poop.

Thanks for your advice about getting professional counselling. I will think about it.

I didn't know there is a word called, " Coprophobia".

Thank you.

If only I can live my life without pooping.

I often wonder to myself..."Why is it that when delicious food enter our body, they have to become dirty, smelly, disgusting poop when exiting our body? Why is our body designed like this? If only undigested food didn't come out as disgusting, dirty, smelly poop from our body, then maybe I won't be so fearful of poop.

Do I really have to use a brush to clean away any remaining skids? Won't the brush get dirty with poop?

Thanks for your advice, I will think about it.

You need to act on it, Travis. Left unchecked, OCD will spread like a wildfire in your brain.

Thank you for your advice.

It is very tough, very, very, tough and so mentally and physically exhausting living with OCD ( obsessive compulsive disorder)

And the worst thing is your family don't understand your condition and actions, and all they ever do is just scold and scold and scold you.

It hurts so much. It's like living a nightmare every day. And you have no one to talk to because your family don't care about you.

just dig a hole, take a shit, and cover it up

simple as that

You need to do more than think about it. As Peloso writes, you need to act on it.

Firstly.

Your shit doesn't suddenly develop bacteria etc. As has been pointed out...they already exist inside you and many of them are essential for digestion. So relax. You aren't suddenly going to get some disease or catch some virus from your own shit. That isn't how it works.

You do want to make sure that you simply wash your hands after defecation and wiping your ass to ensure you don't leave your bacteria or viruses etc. on surfaces for others and you want to make sure that you avoid rubbing your eyes might result in an irritation. But it isn't going to kill you.

The reason you need professional counselling and from what I read, a basic understanding of biology and chemistry is that your shit isn't 'dirty'. It is just a by-product. And while I don't care for the smell of shit either, it doesn't ruin my life. I either light a match to clear the air of gaseous odours or, if by accident, I happen to punch through the toilet paper and get some shit on my finger, I just give my hands a good wash. use some peroxide with a nail brush and get on with my life. It is shit. Not radioactive material.

It is your perception of shit that is the issue. Maybe it is something you were taught as a child or maybe it is a genetically or neurochemically induced anxiety.

But you can get control over this. I sense you have little or no control or desire for control as an adult over your own life. I think you need to insist that you get professional help.

In the meantime, you now know that there is a term for the condition you suffer from and that you are not unique or alone. Read up on this and then DO something.

It is very tough. It's compromised just about every area of my life. I completely understand the pain and frustration in your post.

The only thing you can do about it is see a therapist. Your GP can't help, and a psychiatrist will just give you pills. Therapists are "trained" for things like OCD and can tailor the therapy for you, personally so that you are better equipped to do the work. OCD is a fear-based disorder so you will be fighting fear. It's hard work, but there are a lot of little victories, and eventually things can and do get better.

And the worst thing is your family don't understand your condition and actions, and all they ever do is just scold and scold and scold you.

I get screamed at by the Mexicans who work in the produce store for taking twenty minutes to pick out a red pepper.

You can talk to me.

I actually saw a psychiatrist a few years ago. The psychiatrist prescribed me some pills. But I was so afraid of the side effects of the pills. I was worried that the pills will give me diarrhoea. I didn't take the pills and I stopped seeing the psychiatrist just after one session with him.

I saw a therapist a few years ago. But I find it quite expensive so I stopped seeing the therapist after a few sessions.
