Doctor Who Season 3

Well, I guess I didn't see enough of him to get an opinion. Pretty stupid the way he ran out of the house when he must have known he was going to get shot down straight away. I thought they might have gone for a more cautious, thoughtful companion after the impetuous Rose and Martha.

Presumably Martha will spend four episodes in Torchwood having weird alien sexual encounters (although a Jack / Ianto / Martha triangle would be kinda cool) and then when she rejoins the TARDIS, as a confident, fully qualified doctor, she will be so over the Doctor and he will be put out that she fancies the other companion instead.

Although, three doctors in the TARDIS?
 
Of course there is the other rumour that Donna (the Christmas Bride) will be reappearing as a companion.
 
I've kindof lost my will to talk about this show anymore....at least for awhile. So I have no opinions on the companion things.

I will say this though....in another forum the guys are all hoping that when the doctor regens next he'll come back as a sexy girl.

I told them that it was impossible cause the doctor is a boy....to which I got booed out of the thread.

gee some horny straight guys I tell ya!
 
Official BBC website news on the return of Donna to the TARDIS for the complete series. Hopefully she will not be so shouty and obtuse all the time!
 
I agree the hand was Mrs. Saxon's since she was one of the few females who would remember the incident after the "reset". I'm guessing the Master didn't regenerate because he had made himself human by transferring his essence into the ring. Can't wait to see Donna and the Doctor bump heads. That should be funny. Overall a good season. How they explain the Titanic since the previous incarnation said he had also been aboard should be interesting. ..|

i froze frame the last episode to see who's hand it was. it was definately a woman's hand and she had one red nail polish. which i think Mrs. Saxon had on red nail polish in the episode.
 
It could only be Mrs Saxon that picked up the ring. She was the one that killed the Master so she probably know his power or essence would be in the ring.

I don't know if it's a good idea having Catherine Tate back. I'd rather have had Tom Ellis (and not just because he's sexy).
 
I was hoping for Tom too or Andrew thing who was in Agwe of Steel we never saw his counterpart in this universe.

I'll give Catherine Tate the benefit of the doubt but I do hope that this whole martha thing will not lead to her beging axe in S5.

At least with Catherine Tate they hopefully won't have Donna falling in love with the Doctor like Rose and Martha and it will give the show a different dynamic.
 
i think cathrine tate did a pretty good job in the christmas episode. i was surprised to find out she was a comedy actress person type. i think it will have a nice lively nature to the show for a bit, or however long she's on it. martha's character is also set to come back after a 4 episode stint on torchwood. i think it'll be cool.
 
But Donna has met the Doctor and has had a year or so the grow and develop. Maybe we'll see other sides to her.
 
The show is making BBC tons of Money in merchandising and on air revenue! So there will be a Season 5. Look for it to be made official after two or three episodes of Season Four. Course the rumour is that David Tennant will be leaving the role after RTD signs off. :(
 
Found this for any newbie to Doctor Who....It's a start for you....little confusing at times but it will bring you up to speed on over 29 seasons of Doctor Who! :D

 
SciFi will begin showing Season 3 tonight! So looking forward to it. Already have my DVR programmed and the snacks are on top of the microwave...

Well according to The Sun newspaper after season 4 there will just be some specials made and no season 5.
