  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Does anyone on here love country music?

There was a good dance re-mix of KD Lang's "Constant Craving" that I liked...

I'm a fan of music, period. And some of that music is country. Nearly all of it is older. It seems the older the country music, the more I like it. I especially like the Carter Family, Hank Williams (the first), and Loretta Lynn.

I can fuck with Faith Hill every now and then.

One of my all-time favorite alt-country/cow-punk bands from the 1980s: Blood on the Saddle. ..|

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!

I had no idea anybody else here knew who Blood On The Saddle was. I was going to answer your post with a link to MY favorite song of theirs, but even with all the YouTube stuff, it ain't there!! "A BED OF ROSES" by them - yeah, great...just GREAT!

I'm a big fan of Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Iris Dement, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tammy Wynette, Bobbie Gentry, Patsy Cline.

..| Very cool to meet another BOTS fan! I love "Red of Roses" too. Here's "Poison Love" performed live. Did you know that Annette was The Bangles original bass player?

Personally, i am irrevocably in love with Taylor Swift.

But i am also starting to broad my horizons when it comes to other types of country music. -Blue grass etc-

Hey Sultan I'm with you I love country music, new , old, pop, traditional, bluegrass, alt, etc. This year I have already seen Eric church, rodney adkins, sean patrick mcgraw, dierks bentley, josh thompson, will be going to see, chris young, joe nichols, kenny chesney, keith urban, sugarland, and any one else that come to nj.

I like the funny stuff - the songs of complaint. "Mama Hated Diesels", "I'm Busted", "You Picked a Fine Time etc." - those kinds of songs.

I also like to hear somebody with a fine voice singing stuff that shows it off - T. Graham Brown in his prime, for example.

I'm not a Die-hard fan of Country Music but I LOVE many Country Stars and their songs...

Reba is the QUEEN..(I don't care that she's a Republican)

Martina McBride has one of the most POWERFUL voices in country history. Give her a Mic and watch her HANG with any of the "Power Divas" out there...

Travis Tritt is one of my all-time favorites...When he opens his mouth he gives you Country, Rock & Soul...Awesome singer...

Wynonna Judd makes you wanna get out of your seat when she takes the stage...She OWNS the stage..

Tim McGraw is also a Favorite...He's got Swagger and a sexy "walk" on him..

Carrie Underwood reigns as todays "Voice" of Country..She's just an awesomely polished Singer...The First time I saw Carrie belt out a tune on American Idol I knew she was destined for Super-Stardom.....She gives you everything she's got on the inside and she leaves you know choice but to Love her and that Voice..

Listened to this a few times this morning. Even back then, she wasn't pure country, but I still love it.
