Santa Monica Blvd., while the best for boy-buying is really a depressing place. At first you are taken with it as a playground, but over time you get tired of seeing these all-American farm boy types seeking "stardom." Few will ever attain it, and most of them have sad backgrounds that involve leaving an unwelcome home, and selling their bodies for drug money on the streets of L. A. It is sad, and sort of takes the adventure out of things. They all have the same story, they did not get the breaks.

Then of course once they take money for sex they are all pretty much ruined. Let's face it what looks great at 2Am is not exactly the kind of guy you want to bring into your real circle of friends. As much as you think you can "reform" them, you can't. The easy money for sex destroys their value system. Then as age steps in they are just thrown away by Los Angeles, and replaced by a new batch of pretty boys. Don't let these people join your life, they will bring you down. It is the same script told and retold.
