The point is the STATE is the one who says if the original is a fake or not. Nor is the state obligated to provide access to official records to every Tom, Dick and Harry who wants to see them. The State says they have records proving that he was born in Hawaii in the state's official records and that information is correct. That is the final argument as far as the law and most sane people are concerned.

You can beat the horse all you want its still dead and not about to get up. And it is all pointless at this late date, as we are not going to impeach him at this point nor somehow erase the last eight years.

In 2009, The Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health verified that he had seen the records and verified that Obama was born in Hawaii and was a natural born US citizen. His office is the keeper of the official records, has all the means and resources necessary at its disposal to verify those records. So his statement is an official statement of the State of Hawaii, no other Hawaiian official with the authority to do so has countered this statement. And no amount of arm chair analysis by people outside his office is going to change that.

What has always been telling about this argument is once he was accepted by the Congress and made President, none of this really mattered. The idiots who keep chasing it claiming they just want to uphold the law show their true colors by continuing to pursue it long past the time it was of any real relevance.

If they were seriously interested in ensure the law was upheld instead of their real intent of discrediting Obama, they would have focused on fixing the process by which candidates are vetted. Instead all birtherism has done has made any real attempts along those lines unlike to happen now because anyone pursuing it will be associated with the crazy conspiracy nuts.
