In light of Taralynn commandeering Hot Topics, I'm gonna say the same thing I said about gun control, I believe in freedom and liberty but this might be one instance where an authority has to step in and take the reigns.

The spamming and trolling was obnoxious at first but now he's literally half the threads on the front page. On JUB's ghetto twin sister website there's a 30 minute block between making threads unless you're a donating member. Nobody (until now) really abused the fact that there's no thread limit here but now that it'a happening I hope the Mods would consider dealing with that member specifically if not outright putting some sort of restriction on that New Topic button cuz GODDAMN Hot Topics looks like a shit-covered turd at the moment.

I'd encourage him to get therapy but I think the therapist would end up in therapy. His powers of obfuscation, hyperbole, conjecture and random nonsensical pseudo-intellectualism are greater than any I've ever seen.

Honestly, I wonder if a therapist could even help. Sometimes you just can't fix stubborn.

Right, because everyone else is no less stubborn? Last I knew, 'willful ignorance and the inability to acknowledge reality' was not a diagnostic point for autism.

There's a difference between clutching delusion to make you feel better, mere stubbornness and autistic traits that people merely read as stubbornness. It gets increasingly tiring having people blame the refusal of considering that they, themselves might be the issue instead of a diagnosis where the great majority of the population are undoubtably well aware that they're the issue.

-Besides, I have my pride. He makes me look bad and the behavior really has fuckall to do with socialization cues, applying the correct boundary for the correct situation and other various social ways the world is understood by. It's just a different way of cataloging information and processing such. His opinions don't go over well and that's what people tend not to like. It's a vortex where you're called on to prop up all the excuses he gives himself over why he believes he's failing at life that are, somehow, never within his control.

It's more than obvious to the observant here that he works at attention getting. And he's succeeding recently far beyond his wildest dreams.

That's the strange part, he seems like a troll but everything he's expressing is things that a lot of gay men, especially of color, really think. The doom and gloom, being gay is all about sex, nobody's ever gonna love me, et cetera. The gay conversion thread was kind of a throwback, mainstream culture pretty much denounced that years ago, it's like asking if scotch would make a good antiseptic. Sure, in 1783.

That's a hard claim when people are pointing to him and deciding that his clinging of shitty opinions couldn't possibly be because humanity includes lazy, fearful pricks who're happy to share their misery among its members. I resent people believing the reason someone forces an immersive pity-party on the front page is an autistic trait. And you know what? I think he'd run with it, any excuse not to take a good, long look at himself. So I can't say as I'm keen to armchair diagnose. It would bode ill. I can put him on ignore all I want but his threads still take up considerably too much space.

And I tried suggesting silence, but if silence is unlikely to stem the swell of spam the only available option besides leaving for captive audience members is arguing with him. Neither fixes the issue of spam on the page.
