Do you ever hear songs that are so beautiful, so right, and just pure "ear candy" for you that it brings on tears? It happens to me every now and then, and while I used to feel weird about it--I started to accept that perhaps it's just my way of connecting and appreciating the music I'm listening to. Whether a sad ballad, a moving instrumental, or a happy "pop" song...I've been touched and moved by all kinds at some point.
So who here gets the occasional waterworks when listening to a beautiful song?
Why would you say it happens for you?
For me...I would say the MAIN thing is usually intricacies in production. If i listen to a song, and the production touches me, I'm pretty much sold...
other things factor in like the "message", the way the singer executes vocals (for songs that are not instrumentals), and such...but the production, the way instruments are used, etc. usually comes first for me.
