The ONLY thing that the repukes wanted to do was make sure that Obama was a 1 term President. They had 'secret' meetings about it. Then they decided to block every damn thing that he wanted to do. So how was he supposed to get ANYTHING done with the teabaggers in control of Congress?

They blocked every jobs package that he tried. Every single one. Then they blamed the Democrats and the fucking -1000 IQ teabaggers ate it up as the gospel truth. It had to be true because it came out of Rupert Murdoch's asshole.

When the Civil Rights and Voting Rights were passed, the 'dixiecrats' left the Democratic party and joined the Republican party. The Republicans embraced them with open arms. It was conservatives on SCOTUS that gutted the Voting Rights act and Republican states that started the very next day passing laws to limit POC voting. It was those states that purged POC off the voter rolls.

If Lincoln were to see the Republican party of today, he'd puke.

Nothing, if for the right reason. If the reason is because Lincoln was a Republican, then I think it would be pathetically ignorant to be so manipulated. I don't think African-Americans are that naive. But white apparatchiks of the Republican party might be that stupid, like Trump's surrogates.
