Double Standard On YouTube

You're missing the point of several of the posts here. This is about more than just people wanting to 'get off' on Youtube videos. :##:
But please do continue with your passive aggressive judgment because someone has a gripe about something you two think aren't worth talking about.

You three. What - am I exempt? :) Look - if people want to spread a video of a hot guy writhing around naked and claim a victory over homophobia by doing so, that's their call. I'm just not so sure I'll be nominating them for the GLAAD awards, if you catch my drift. :)

Wasn't being condescending, but if you want me to be, I sure as hell can go there.

You already went there. You're not as intimidating as you try to be. :)

This thread was about more than 'good fap material' (at least as far as I'm concerned). That's just what you reduced it to. And I've seen many of the videos you mentioned, but that still doesn't dismiss the fact that there is a bias in what kinds of videos get a pass (on sites like youtube), as well as other media online and off.

I agree his examples were shit, but that doesn't take away from what he was attempting to say.

FYI...I had no issue with your 'dissenting' opinion, but it was the way you chose to express it.

You three. What - am I exempt? :)

I didn't pay you any attention.

Thank those fucking censorship Nazis at Viacom for that. Remember? Those were the ones that sued Google for copyright claims on videos.

Viacom was just one party of legal liabilities for YouTube. Once YouTube became property of a multi-billion dollar company, they were an instant target for civil litigation. Nobody cared about suing YouTube as a small, company by itself. It was only when moneybags Google came in, did everyone want it highly regulated.

I wonder if there is an actual "policy difference on paper" that youtube operates by, so much as we see a homophobic slant in the enforcement of "inappropriate videos" because of the volume of people who will report a male nudity vid as offensive vs. the number of people who will report a woman in suggestive poses or lingerie.

My guess is that if 1,000 people report a video as offensive to youtube the simplest thing for them to do is remove it, perhaps by automation, without ever making a human judgment about the content of the video. Just a guess though.

I can actually link people to a gamer who uploads to youtube who actually had some innocuous video removed for "copyright infringement" because some obscure Italian company that had utterly nothing to do with his video said that same word or name he used was based on their business name (he didn't even know they existed) and when he took up the issue with youtube, since it was not a legitimate copyright infringement, he got the impression that when they receive such complaints, they just do an automated removal and only if people contest the actions does any human input go into looking at it. There's simply too many videos and too many users for an actual employee to be sitting there reviewing everything uploaded to youtube that gets complaint or inappropriate or copyright flag reports.

I didn't pay you any attention.

So people are whining that the inappropriate videos that they want to see are being flagged but the inappropriate videos they don't want to see aren't?
That's ridiculous.

lol okay guys...I'm done "arguing" about this. We're clearly at the point where this is just going to go around in circles. I've said what I have to say about it. There's nothing else to add. :dead:

Ass implants? :(

Question:
I was watching a dropbox tutorial and you can post a link to a video. Is that allowed here? is that consider file sharing if I post the version that Carey sent me?

Is there an issue with it not being my 'content' re: Jub rules? which says e. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party;

I can probably guess what happened, some homophobic asshole who doesn't like the fact that the video existed took it upon himself to false-flag the video as inappropriate.

Rather than a asshole I'm convinced there is an organised group of homophobic assholes on the Internet. They're probably subscribed to every gay channel or channels with sexy videos of men waiting to flag the videos.

Actually even more than the homophobes there are the misogynists trolls. Every single feminist video is barraged with dislikes and fake female/feminist profiles to provoke people.

I was just watching the new series trailer for Game Of Thrones and I'm so fucking pissed by the comments there. Some misogynist fucktards aren't happy with the powerful women shown in show (which is rare with among all the whores. in GOT).

^ Can you believe that? The profiles that replied to 'Cindy Mcgraw' are probably the same person or the same group of people with the task of degrading feminism on the internet.

The same type of trolls also work against us. So, the next time you see a 'gay guy' on the Internet that does not believe in gay marriage then he probably isn't gay at all.

I'm going OTT !oops! Anyway there is more to these videos getting flagged than just an offended asshole.

Holy shit that's hot! I had to mute the audio though.

I'm not surprised it got deleted off YouTube though. If this were a woman, it would be viral.

Exactly look at how many views Blurred Lines has and the Diet Coke channel had to temporarily delete the video below because of the negative comments by men. I messaged them asking why they deleted it and they actually messaged back saying it'd be back for the summer and thankfully it has.

Look at the dislikes on this video

Only when the men (straight) get the taste of their own medicine, they crawl out of the woodwork crying objectification is wrong. While no one bats an eye watching the type of video below. Can you imagine the outcry if a music video had a fat ugly woman surrounded by naked sexy men?

You'll even find this level of homophobia on porn video sites. I've seen straight guys post angry comments about having to see gay porn when they were browsing the site, and a lot of them even report the video and get it removed. All the time, we have to look at videos and pictures of women that got posted under the gay category. Imagine if straight guys had to deal with what we do!

THIS! You always stumble upon straight porn in the gay category like some asshole deliberately tags #gay# while uploading. Are they trying to show us what we're missing and possibly get turned on by it and turn straight? Or just plain trolling?

Yeah--it's not only on youtube, but across the board. :##: Frustrating as hell.

And don't even get me started with this crap going on in "society" where people think women are naturally beautiful, while men are trolls who are seldom if ever attractive. bitch, please.

sorry...ranting.

LOL There are actually guys who don't get how men can be sexy and most media catering to them doesn't help.

There are so many questions on Yahoo Answers of the type - Do women find men physically attractive? :dead: And some troll answering that the female form is way better than male ](*,)

No, I haven't missed "the point" - a bunch of people complaining that a person that's clearly naked with a wide open ass riding a toy suggestively and erotically having his video yanked down is all of a sudden "homophobia" when compared to pop starlets shaking their asses and dogs doing what dogs do and people laughing about it. It's CLEARLY a double standard that something that can easily be seen as porn gets pulled when things that are suggestive but not nearly absolutely porn - Cazwells' Ice Cream Truck video, the numerous twerking and dick slang vids, naked guy playing Rock Band, pop, rap, old rock videos, and I can go on for days - gets to stay up.

Sorry for having an actual opinion that dissents from "the point". I thought careys' "point" was it's hard to find "good fap material" on youtube - and not only is that clearly untrue depending on what you "fap" to, there are other avenues to find it. Crying homophobia over THIS video makes me feel sad for him and anyone else that is using this an an example. That's MY point.

But do go on as if I'm acting like I'm tossing this off because I feel there are better things to worry about. Clearly, that's the only reason why I have an opinion that's not with everyone else on this subject. Wasn't being condescending, but if you want me to be, I sure as hell can go there.

So people are whining that the inappropriate videos that they want to see are being flagged but the inappropriate videos they don't want to see aren't?
That's ridiculous.

Ditto to the both of your responses...
