For theaters, they have torn all of the ones that i know of around me. The land became way to valuable to keep.

But we still have the company that started California's first drive-thru hamburger stand.

We still have one that is open in early spring till early fall time--it's too close to the highway though and the headlights bother me too much.

I love the drive-in! My groovy dad used to take me all the time back in the 1970s to see cheap horror and kung fu movies.

oh gosh. the only still open drive in theater near here is way over in west texas.

The site needs to be updated. I looked them up for around her and was told there were about a hundred. They listed all of the ones that have closed.

I don't think many exist anymore since they aren't that profitable in this day and age.

If they could sell food there then they could be very profitable. Think about it, they don't have to pay as much for the land or heating the cinema. Plus I think being in your own car is better than being in a cramped cinema with noisy kids. But, how do you hear it?

We used to have a drive-in here many moons ago.

They'd show x-rated movies at midnight every weekend. You haven't lived until you've seen porn on a giant screen outside.

A buddy of mine and I used to go when we were teenagers. We'd get drunk and end up jerking each other off in the front seat of my car.
