A thread like this is just BEGGING people to come in and tell you that you don't know what you're talking about.

Now Celine had a good moment, so lets just everyone acknowledge it and not try to say Celine is better than Aretha or vice versa. Everyone has their personal preference, but when you start saying one is better than the other it just opens up a can of worms that doesn't need to be opened. :)

I will say W.T.F is up with those tits! Jesus! My god lay off the fried chicken Aretha, those things are bound to become certified deadly weapons if they get any bigger!

Lol I remember this back in 98'. The legendary giant divas Mariah, Aretha, Celine, Shania, Gloria, and Carole.

I have the CD (and the cassette tape ;)) of the concert recording.


This particular video showed Aretha that she's not the only one who can overshadow people with powerhouse voices.

If you watch Mariah and Aretha's duet with Chain of Fools, you'll see how poor Mariah tried to keep up, with her raspy (tired) voice. Aretha nailed her.

If you watch Shania, Gloria, Carole, and Celine singing You've Got a Friend you'll see Celine showcasing her big-ass voice also.

In the end, the whole show was about Celine and Aretha but in the finale Celine nailed it.

If she would have remained the way she was back in the 80's or 90's, I would have definitely picked WHITNEY HOUSTON.
